Boss Leather

When my wife and I decided to renovate our basement one thing we really wanted was a sectional sofa for the home theatre area. I looked at all the major manufacturers and some of the "custom" shops in Toronto but nothing would fit really nicely in our new space. I happened upon the Boss Leather website and after a couple of e-mails back and forth to Ralph we decided to make the 90km trek to his showroom one Saturday morning. We knew what we wanted but were genuinely surprised at all the combinations of arm style, leather grades and finishes and degrees of firmness that were possible. We had all the dimensions in hand so were disappointed that the sofa style we wanted was going to be 1" too long - not a problem to Ralph as he simply indicated on the order form that the arms would be made narrower to accomodate the dimensions in our room. After the order was placed we waited anxiously as our renovation took place knowing that the timing of our contractors work and the sofa were tied. Unfortunately our flooring was delayed but Ralph was very understanding and told us to let him know when the floor was done and we'd arrange a new time for delivery. When the floor was complete, we called Ralph and our sofa was in our basement 3 days later completely set up and packaging removed. The sofa is so comfortable that it is most definitely the favorite spot in our house to sit now whether to watch TV or curl up with a book. The best thing however is that it is large enough that the entire family can fit on it comfortably at one time!

Just bought a love seat and chair from Boss leather and I am very impressed. Very good customer service, product quality far exeeded my expectations, build time was accurate, delivery was done carefully/perfectly with no issues at all and everything looks better than I had imagined! I would reccomend Ralph and everyone at Boss leather to anyone in the market for indoor/outdoor home furnishings.

I heard of Boss Leather through a friend of mine, so I decided to go into the showroom and see what type of furniture was available, After discussing my options with them I decided on a black leather sofa bed for my basement, I wasn't forced into a purchase, they made sure I was comfortable with what I had decided on. Upon arrival I was amazed on the quality of the sofa bed, it was a perfect fit for my basement. Amazing staff,

I am surprised the reviews for this company are so overwhelmingly positive. It was based on the positive reviews posted here that I drove out to the showroom in Bolton. I must have waited an hour before I was helped.

In the end, I ordered a leather sofa because I really wanted furniture which met my criteria and I was willing to pay the custom price. I placed the order and was told it would take five weeks at the most. One month later, I sold my existing sofa. Long story short, I was sitting on the floor for another month before I finally had to call for an update and was told that it was not ready yet and they were too busy to advise clients when there was a problem with the custom order and ask how to proceed.

In the end, I did not receive my sofa until three months later, and that was with me consistently bothering Ralph at the end and forcing a delivery date. On the day my sofa was delivered, I missed a call from the delivery boys for just a few minutes and Ralph immediately sent a rude e-mail to me asking where I was.

The other reviews here describe the quality of the product, and I don't dispute that. But the punctuality, timeliness, and follow-up was completely lacking and I felt that this forum needed another perspective. (NOTE: I am not Mrs. B as described by the company response)

I recently needed a new sofa. I didn't know what to do. Had no idea what style or color anything about sofas. So I searched Boss Leather and phoned Ralph he was so nice on the phone. He explained everything and gave me great advice.

I had purchased a leather sectional sofa from here and really loved it. Ralph helped me choose a right fit for me based on my room size and design and it worked out amazing.

I recently just purchased and received my second set from Boss Leather .My First set which is a sectional is stunning and so we decided to furnish our basement with leather sofas as well. It is hard to find quality along with service but at Boss Leather I definately received it .They informed me everything I needed to know about leather and how to treat it etc. It started off with a phone call where they had told me to bring measurements ,and colour swatches for the room as well as pictures. I had received such great help from Danielle who really helped me create the sofa I was looking for and she had suggested such great colour choices .I am extremely happy with all my leather sofas and would recommend them to my friends and family any day .Shopping at Boss Leather I really got the quality I was looking for. I can’t wait to show it off over the holidays!!

I can't rate this company highly enough. I ordered a custom sectional with Rob, and it fit perfectly in my room configuration. After I placed my order, Rob kept me up to date with the progress. He telephoned and emailed me with ETA of my purchase, and then again when they had received the item from their factory so they could arrange a suitable delivery date. After the item was delivered, they emailed me again to see how I enjoyed my sectional and love seat. I highly recommend Boss Leather!

Best sofa I have purchased! It was not only beautiful but perfect. I have had compliments from my relatives and friends and the staff over there are very friendly and helpful.

Thank you to Boss Leather for my beautiful sofas !!!!! Not only did Ralph listen to me about what I wanted, but he knew better than I did what style of sofa would be best for our family and pets. He is extremely knowledgable not only in leather but design as well. I'm already placing another order with him for some matching chairs!
