In the fall of 2023, I undertook a significant project involving both internal and external waterproofing. The service provided by Mario and his team was nothing short of exemplary. Among the various estimates I received, Mario's stood out for his comprehensive evaluation of my entire property, effectively identifying the sources of water intrusion. This thoroughness swayed my decision in his favor, overturning my initial preference for another company. I had the pleasure of dealing with Mario and his team for a major underpinning project. The work involved was underpinning the house, digging and building a new front basement entrance and extending an extension at the rear of the home.
The reason why I chose Mario was because he noticed a few faults that no other contractors noticed during the vetting stage.
The work took a little bit longer than promised but what construction of this magnitude finishes on time?
During the process we did encounter a few hiccups but Mario was quick to respond and rectify the issue. His work was professional and prompt and fair.
I would definitely hire him again for any more waterproofing and underpinning projects in the future.

Our sump pump died late April. Called many plumbing contractors who were busy and not all that reliable with meeting project review commitments. Wife's cousin in Etobicoke Mario's (MMT)contact info and a very solid review. Mario responded and met his arrival/review commitment. Price Mario provided was 30% lower than lowest plumber quote for the exact sump pump solution. Mario too was clearly very busy as his availability still a few days out. Our pump now dead for a week in spring when we needed it mostly I had a manual pump in the hole with garden hose out the window which I had to plug and unplug manually 7/24. Mario said best he could do was come at 10pm the following night. Darned if he didn't show up and do the work as promised, price as quoted. This is a long review, I really can't say enough but will stop with these final words: If you have a sump pump issue, call as many plumbers as you have time for then call Mario at MMT. Then like me, spread the word!!!!!!!

This is our second time using MMT Waterproofing. This company is professional, caring and does a great job. I would highly recommend this company and would have no problem using them again in the future.

Mario was quick to come out and provide an estimate as well as thoroughly explain my options. The team conducting the work were very courteous helping to ensure our rose garden that had to temporarily move, got replanted as it was originally. The work itself looks great and haven't had an issue, but I feel reassurance in knowing Mario and team will help out if I do run into any issues.

The neighbour in the laneway house behind my property harassed Mario's team for no reason throughout the project and repeatedly tried to shut down the work site. All work was done up to code which was confirmed both by an independent engineer and city inspector. He raised his voice, threatened to call the police repeatedly, swore, and even resorted to using slurs and physically threatening the workers.

Mario and his team remained incredibly patient and professional beyond expectation. He communicated clearly with me every step of the way and did not lose his temper once despite the project taking longer than expected due to the neighbours.

I can not recommend this team highly enough. The work was done well, and he worked with me to complete at a price point I could afford as a first time homeowner. They truly go above and beyond. Thank you Mario and team!!
