The work which was completed at my home included the removal of a door and window, turning the window into a garden door, LOVE IT ! As well as replacing a lower level patio door. Old West Windows & Door ltd. replaced five windows at the rear of my house this March 2014. Great price on the windows and absolutely first class installation job by the three man (in house) installation crew. After experiencing a very disappointing job by another large window company in Calgary earlier this year, this installation was just the opposite of that job. Well done Old West Windows $ Door ltd. and I would highly recommend Rick and his crew to anyone replacing windows or doors.

We had three bedroom windows replaced in March of 2014. 1 of them is very large, and another is a bay window. They arrived at 9:00 exactly, and were finished shortly after 3. It was about -10 when they started, and not a lot warmer by the time they finished. The crew was very good about keeping the door closed as much as they could, as I was home with my preschooler and baby. Kyle was very friendly and patient with my pre-schooler, and everyone who encountered me inside introduced themselves to me. One of the crew members was smoking outside on the scaffolding, but did a remarkable job of cleaning up after himself - not a butt to be found! :)
The new windows look great, and feel even better in terms of keeping out the drafts!
Everything from the quote, to the scheduling, to making the final payment by phone was seamless and easy. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel like it was important to them that they do a good job for me.

We had Old West replace windows in our house, which included a very large picture window. We found the company online and were impressed with their great reviews. We got quotes from a number of companies and decided to go with Old West because of the initial impression of great customer service. Rick and the company were professional and attentive right from our initial contact with the company through to completion. From the initial visits on site, to the quote and review, to the product selection and style, Old West understood our requirements and wishes. The install team arrived right on time, and were completely prepared. They even tarped under their saws to limit the amount of debris on the driveway and shoveled up snow that was covered in sawdust. In our opinion, the install team was exceptional. They took care to protect our floors and interior while they worked inside. They were respectful of the interior and exterior spaces. And they worked incredibly hard, all the way until completion (barely stopping for breaks). They were professional, easy to talk to, and respectful. Couldn't ask for more. They proactively pointed out deficiencies that will be addressed and how (we had factory installed exterior paint on our windows and they caught it before we did, pointed it out, and how it will be remedied; and they noted missing screens that were delayed from the factory). The only minor issue was the look of the header on our picture window trim - it does not look exactly as we though it would, but it still looks great. I look forward to doing business with them in the future when we renovate our bottom floor.

We had Old West replace 6 windows in our 30 year old home. Everything from the quote process to the installation was flawless. They showed up on time every time and they worked fast, which was appreciated since it was -30 out! My husband, who wasn't home during install, commented he wouldn't even have known they were there the place was so clean afterwards. They charged exactly what they quoted and the windows looks amazing! I will definitely be calling them when we replace the remaining windows!

I have nothing but things to say about my experience with OWW. They were prompt efficient,polite ,they were in & Out in 4 hrs.on one of our very cold days! One worker even caulked a window installed by another company!! Good service is a rarity these days so I would happily recommend them to any one needing new windows.
