Recently we replaced all of our windows and our front door. We have looked at several companies before deciding on Old West Renovations.
And we are glad we did!
Rick was extremely knowledgeable and patient. He was able to answer all our questions and concerns and he was always available to us on his phone. His suggestions were invaluable to us.
Also the installers- Cory and Kyle were a real pleasure to have in our home. They were very professional and respectful. They worked very hard to complete the job in one day. Before they left, they made sure that everything was cleaned up and our property was left immaculate.

We just replaced all our old windows in September of 2011. We ordered windows through the Direct Buy Calgary, and the windows supplier (Durabuilt) recommended Rick's team to do the measurement and installation work. Rick showed great skills and knowledge in this field, and answered our questions very professionally. We were very happy with the installation services too. His team did a fantastic work. After installation, they pointed out that there were some windows with tiny flaws and called Durabuilt to replace the parts with flaws. To be honest, we did not even notice by ourselves! We highly recommend Old West Renovations if someone wants to replace their old windows!

Hired Rick and his team to replace all of the windows and the front door in our house. Right from the initial consultation, we were comfortable with Rick's expertise and his guidance in selecting what was best for our home. We made a few changes along the way and Rick was right there to assist with the pricing to fit our budget.

The installation was amazing - felt seriously like having friends in our home doing the work. Cory and Kyle were great right from the word go, personable, friendly and professional. At the end of the installation, they cleaned up the mess and you couldn't see that they had been there at all. I'd recommend these guys to anyone that is considering renovations to their home.

Work and crew were exemplary in terms of friendliness, workmanship, knowledge, availability, speed and overall ease in dealing with. Crews arrived when they said they would, product was delivered on time and work site was left as clean as it was before they arrived. No hesitation in recommending the 'outfit' to family, friends and perfect strangers.

I would like to comment on the wonderful service we had with Rick Whatley of OLD WEST RENOVATIONS LTD. He and his crew were friendly, punctual, knowledgeable and reliable. He was not overbearing and understood when we could only afford to do three windows at that point of our renovation. I recommended OLD WEST RENOVATIONS LTD. to my elderly aunt when she needed a window replacement in her bathroom. She was very pleased with their work and felt very comfortable with them.

We used this company to replace all of our doors and windows in our home. The first time we used them was in 2009 and replaced 2 exterior doors and 6 windows. We called around for quotes. Not only did they have a very competitive offer, Rick's friendliness and professionalism made them an easy choice. The guys came, did the windows, did a great job - I recommended them to my neighbors who also used them to replace some windows and doors. We used them again the second time to do the rest of our windows and doors as well - we didn't even bother calling for quotes as we knew these guys were great. We had a few hiccups the second time, but Rick and the guys were so friendly, accomodating and professional that it wasn't an issue.
We didn't have just standard pop out/pop in windows/doors. We changed some sizes, changed some functions - no matter what I asked for they would find a way to make it happen, which is hard to do in an older home.
I would recommend them, I would use them again.

Great job. Arrived when they said. Did what they said. Charged what they said. And the windows are terrific quality. No problems and going into my second winter. If you are debating whether or not to replace your windows, call Rick @ Old West. He really knows windows. If you know what you want, he'll get it for you. If you don't know, he'll help you think about it and make the right choice.

Old West Renovations was very professional, their prices were reasonable, and they installed everything just as they'd promised. I'extremely happy with my new interior doors. They also have a very nice selection of high-end and reasonably priced doors and windows.

Finally I found someone who not only gave me a reasonable price but also addressed my concerns on energy efficency and esthetics. Rick showed his commitment, returned calls and was able to address all of my concerns. He had great advice and was very easy to work with. I was so happy I confindently gave his name to two others who have just completed projects with him.
