M&R Roofing

We have done 4 major renos & have worked with many trades and contractors. So we're pretty "streetwise" and sceptical. Initially ALL promise excellent work, a reasonable schedule and price. Usually some small issue comes up on a job. Unfortunately this is when a contractor's promises don't always measure up. Believe me -- we know! However, it is not an exaggeration to say that Maciej and his team have provided excellent service. The estimate was detailed and accurate. There were no extra costs. We live in the west end of the city; little space exists between houses. M+R were extremely diligent about keeping debris from surrounding neighbors. The work was finished on schedule. The team were polite and professional. And did WE have any issues -- sure. There was a very small piece of eavestrough missing when the guys were done. (We actually went on the roof after -- my husband is fanatical!) Maciej ensured the issue was corrected immediately and once on site he had the team reclean all the troughs more thoroughly. They spent an extra day on site. My husband and I hadn't even seen any problems with the troughs. Their cost was substantially less than other quotes. We were prepared for some "hiccups". But M+R were awesome -- start to finish. No hesitation recommending them. Nice guys.

M & R was excellent at giving us an accurate and fair quote, responding to our many questions and being flexible with the scheduling (although our first choice didn't work out at the last minute). Overall their service was great, the crew was very professional looking (uniforms!) and most importantly the new roof looks fantastic.

I required a new roof for my 102 year old house. After interviewing 5-6 roofing companies, I chose M&R roofing because they were the most responsive, most knowledgeable, and best priced roofing company. M&R did a fantastic job; the results were very precise, professional and aesthetically attractive. I would definitely hire M&R again.

I interviewed 6 roofers and these guys were the best. They do their own work. The roof looks great. They showed up and cleaned up. Two years later our metal chimney blew down in high wind. They were my first call . Great work!

From start to finish the most professional roofing company i dealt with. Contacted 5 companies, 2 didn't even reply or return calls. Of the other 3 that came by M&R and one other were the only ones who followed through with a written quote. The crew was very nice and completed the job in a timely manner and did a great job cleaning up.

We found the company to be punctual, professional and prompt to respond to a quote request. The work was completed on time and everything was cleaned up. We appreciated the service.

We called at least 5 roofers for quotes. One didn't return calls. One didn't show up. Of the the three that did two looked at the job and verbally quoted a price. M & R was SO much more professional. Great website and written offer to start with. Their price was competitive and close to the lowest quote we received. The work was carried out efficiently by a pleasant crew that was very non - intrusive. And the cleanup was exceptional. There was no evidence that a filthy dirty project had just been completed. I give M & R the very highest marks possible.

Fantastic crew. The owner came out and clearly explained the entire process to us. The estimate was comparable to other companies but the service was stellar. As promised, they showed up at the agreed time, and cleaned up and got rid of all of the old roofing materials. The roof has never leaked. When we did have water in our basement and an inept plumber tried to blame it on the roof, we contacted M and R again. They came right out to the house that day and found the leak - which was a plumbing issue, not a roofing issue. I've recommended M and R to my neighbour -we live in a semi-detached and I wouldn't want anyone else up there. Would recommend them to anyone else in a heartbeat.

Really great experience with this team. Lots of hands on consultation, honest advice and great follow through very even a small job.
