I had pendant light that wasn't working in me kitchen. Nu-Phase came over to look at it and give me a quote for repair. He kindly advised me replace the existing lights as the current ones weren't safe. Also recommended that we do with LED as these will be more efficient. I purchased lights on my own and then he returned and patiently installed them. It was a tricky installation & he stayed until he job was done plus didn't charge for his extra time. Thank you for your help, we love our new lights!

Neil did an expert job of replacing my old knob and tube wiring. He's a pleasure to work with. When he uncovered plumbing problems in my walls, he even recommended an excellent plumber.

New home owner here and wanted to swap out the old plugs and switches around the apartment with new ones (because, really, once you paint over the mustard yellow walls, you gotta get the yellow switches/plates/plugs out of there!) So I embark on a journey with a multitester, toolbelt, and youtube videos loaded on the ipad. Halfway through the kitchen, the breaker sparks and refuses to turn back on just 3 days before Thanksgiving... images of cooking by candlelight and faces of h-angry family and friends surfaced... panic ensues. In comes Neil: Professional, grounded (pun intended), here to save the day Neil. Not only was he reassuring that I didn't 'mess it up beyond hope', he was able to come in to fix the problem within two days. He diagnosed the issue in just a few minutes and showed me where I stumbled. It sounds odd but I actually had a great time learning the 101 of electrical wiring from Neil and he was genuinely interested in helping me learn. He encouraged me to go on and complete the rest of the apartment!

One week later, Neil contacted me to see how everything was working out and when I had a question about the timer I wanted to install for the exhaust fan, he didn't hesitate in giving me pointers over text! Solid, grade A guy - so happy I found him and I would recommend him to anyone who needs an electrician.

Like some others on the site, I was wary to use an electrician I found on a website, but Neil quickly put any concerns to rest. Neil was punctual, courteous, and an expert in his trade. He took time to correctly diagnose the issue, and when it recurred, he came back to fix it again as a courtesy. Couldn't be happier!

Project sounds simple enough, run a few lengths of ethernet cable in a small house, and despite a couple big challenges, Neil nailed it.

The two big challenges: 1. home is about 100 years old and renovated many times over 2. cat 6A is much more stiff than normal ethernet cable and has bend restrictions (very limited)

Neil just knew what he was doing and just kept coming up with new solutions to make this work. He even had a drywall repair person recommendation to finish the job.

I just recently had Neil over for a bedroom fan installation. Nothing but good things to say about Neil & his company. He arrived on time, charged me the quoted price and completed the work in a very timely and professional manner. The install was quite complicated because of my angled ceiling but it was no trouble for Neil. Definitely one of the few Electricians around who I would hire again and again.

Timeline;
July 4 agree on new electrical panel.
July 11, permit goes through.
July 29, new panel installed.
August 28, finishing touches applied.
Almost 2 months from start to finish....

Neil did a great job fixing our electrical problems. He spotted the problem quickly and was very knowledgeable. He also spotted and repaired a problem that was a potential fire hazard and we are very grateful to him.

We needed some small fixes around the house...various outlets and switches were not working properly. Neil was fast and efficient and the price was very fair. Will definitely hire again for future work.
