Neil came in to troubleshoot a short. Found two in what was a bit of a tricky job and was professional throughout. He was in the apartment for three hours but would have been finished earlier had I been able to provide faster access to the apartment electrical room.

Professional cost but professional service and professional job

Neil was tasked with solving a mystery on why a certain electrical outlet was not working., He was accessible, a good communicator, prompt and did his best. Although we couldn't solve the mystery on why this was happening he came up with an alternate that fixed the problem. He is very thorough and professional.

I called Neil on Monday morning after reading his great reviews on Homestars. He answered the phone and had no problem scheduling an appointment for Wednesday to look at my small issue with a bathroom fan. He arrived promptly and was very professional. After quickly replacing a switch he trouble shot a receptacle without power and then replaced two parts of an old light, which was a real awkward job. Neil preformed his job very well, and I wouldn't hesitate using him again or recommending him to a friend. Thanks Neil!

I first found NuPhase Electric on Homestars. They had a lot of great reviews, so I thought I would give them a shot, and let me tell you, they didn't disappoint.

I had two 20 yr old bathroom fans that needed to be replaced. It wasn't an easy job. And from the first time I spoke with Niel over the phone, I could tell he knew his stuff.

He showed up with everything he needed to get the job done. He was aware of my budget and my concerns and worked with me on making sure I got the best job done in the most reasonable budget possible.

Not only was Niel knowledgeable but he wasn't like normal contractors. He was extremely friendly, and very easy to get along with. Not only did he do a great job, but I feel that I have made a friend. I will definitely be calling Neil and NuPhase for all of my electrical needs.

First Neil tried to help me over the phone to save me money, but the problem could not be solved. He arrived promptly & replaced the breaker quickly & efficiently. I thought the cost was very reasonable. I would definitely use this company again.

New hardware is supposed to be easy to install. but would rather hire an expert. had been delaying this repair expecting the usual tradesperson overcharge. intead, we found neil to be very professional, personable, efficient and on target with his over the phone estimate. would hire him again and refer him. thanks neil!

We found Neil from Nu-phase on this website, called him, he picked up the phone right away, came the day after, looked at our 4 separate electrical issues, did not say "I have to come back I need some parts" (he had all he needed in his truck, even though we had 4 very different jobs, inside and outside), was pleasant, priced his work very honestly, and did not push to do things that did not obviously or necessary needed to be fixed. He even called the day after to check that an outside light on a timer, actually worked later that night, after his repair. Over the last 10 years in the lower mainland, he is the first trade that I meet that has honesty, competency, timeliness and work ethic on his belt. I was impressed.

When Neil came by to quote our job (removal of our kitchen's sunshine ceiling light, pot light install and switch up of all our outlets and plugs) - we were impressed with his knowledge, experience and friendly nature. I found Neil Sharma by searching online, he came highly recommended so I gave him a call and Neil didn't disappoint! Very nice, kind man and came right on time! explained everything to me and never made me feel dumb for asking newbie questions! Very fair pricing and gave me maintenance tips! I will hire him again for sure for future jobs!

1 month update: I had to come back to give an update because i am even more pleased than i was initially! Originally i had called Neil to come install a living room light fixture and to also quote me on a price for replacing my bathroom spotlights as well. I couldn't understand why it kept flickering. Clearly it worked sometimes and not others, but given my lack of knowledge, i just assumed it meant time to get in new spotlights. However, Neil identified the actual issue and told me even if i bought new spotlights, the problem wouldn't go away...hence the transformers i mentioned in my review title. 1 month in and my existing spotlights are burning bright and strong! Thanks again to Neil for being honest, saving me the cost of replacing all my spotlights and for giving me the job i actually needed done and not the one i naively initially asked for.
