Waterwork Company

Highly disappointed in this company. We purchased the water softer and reverse osmosis system including installation but the RO system was not installed properly and was leaking under the counter. We thought it must have leaked while the install happened and we cleaned up the water but next morning there was water again under the sink. I called Peter and left a voicemail (no answer) and got a call back and Peter left a vmail saying that they would be in the area either on Thursday of that week or the following Saturday. I called back and got voicemail again, and so I requested that someone come by on Thursday but I also asked that they call me before and let me know what time they would be around to fix the leak. I have not received any calls after that. If that is the kind of service you want from a company than by all means go ahead and do business with this company. If however you expect a higher level of service than I highly recommend you avoid this company. It's not worth the saving you think you are getting. I wish I had read these reviews before we did business with this company.

WARNING !!!!Stay away. This company is not any good . I have 2 of their new watersoftners in my basement and nothing worked. Had to install a unit from sears to get my water back to normal.Have been unable to get my money back nor will anyone reply to all the calls I made (30) The address they have listed dose not exist. Tell me he has no money to repay me ????What kind of business has no cash flow.I guess small claims court is the only way and thats a pain. STAY AWAY

On Nov 3 2013 Waterwork Com installed an iron, sulfur filter at our house, for $1535. Peter assured it would do a good job and with his warranty we felt it to be a good purchase. In about 3 weeks the filter failed to function, so all our appliances, sinks, tubs and faucets were staining from iron and sulfur. Between Dec 3 2013 and Jan 13 2014 I called Peter 14 times. He always promised to do something but never called back or came to the house. On one call he agreed I should install a system similar to what I had previous, and he would give us back our $1535. Between Jan 14 2014 and Feb 25 2014 I called Peter 9 times and he said he would e-transfer our money but never did. Now he does not answer my calls, even though his voice mail says he will return the call within one hour. He does not respond to my e-mails. In our experience Peter has not kept promises 23 times, his voice mail is not accurate as he has never called back, his website is misleading as it indicates if there is a maintenance issue “we will be right there to fix it. “ Today I have a defective filter from Peter and he has $1535 which he promised to refund.. I posted this review and contacted the BBB to resolve the issue. Peter e-transferred $500 with a promise to transfer $500 weekly till the refund was completed. He also attempted to intimidate me. I have not received my weekly refunds as promised and I am still trying to get $1035. I have contacted consumer action Ontario and they recommend small claims court, However I have submitted my disappointments to CBC GO PUBLIC for review. They have accepted my complaint.

Excellent service - on time, gave me a great deal, for great products, and provided good advice. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for water softening and filtration services.

I am very unhappy with the services of water work company. They were extremely courteous and returned my call the first time around, and once they had my business and received my money, they no longer return phone calls or show up to apptments. My ro system and water softener does not work properly, and i was told by Stephen and Peter that they would come back to replace the system, and after 3 different apptments that they failed to show up for with no prior notice (except one with notice only a mere 30 minutes prior), I am now beginning to think that this company is very unprofessional. I had owned the units for a week before calling to complain.

Very professional and on time. Install took about 30 minutes. They came in, assessed where they were installing the system and then starting to bring everything in. They left no mess behind and took the time to explain how it works to have a softener. Very nice people, would recommend them to anyone!

Installation was well done, no probs there. But trying to reach Peter after has not been very successful. I have issues now, and Peter is not returning my emails or my calls. Very disappointed.

I have nothing but great things to say about these guys! I had a water softener and RO filtration system installed in my house by Waterwork Company. They were beyond punctual (actually called to asked if they could come a bit earlier), were extremely friendly and down to earth, AND were very knowledgeable. Steven came to install the softener, and spent a good chunk of time answering all of my questions and explaining the science behind how the system softens water. (I finished the day feeling like I had learned something new:) He went over the maintenance (which is almost non-existent) and function of the system, and explained how I wouldn't need to use as much soap anymore in any of my appliances or in the shower. (Yes!) Peter came to install the RO filtration system (Peter is actually Steven's Dad) and he was just as knowledgeable and friendly as his son. These guys know their stuff, and made me feel comfortable and confident in their ability and know-how. 10+ stars!

I used Waterwork Company for my water softener and reverse osmosis system for drinking water. Peter is very knowledgeable and friendly. Great customer service, when they brought the wrong softener they drove all the way back to Barrie to pick up the correct one and install it the same day. They even hooked up my dishwasher for me and installed bypasses for my front/rear taps for outside at no charge. Quality work from these guys!
