Like me, I’m sure you have tried to come up with ideas on how you want the space to look like, then look everywhere for the right fixtures and furniture, buy and arrange delivery and assembly. You know how exhausting, frustrating and time consuming the entire process can be.

Luckily, I got LUX Design by my side, thanks to a referral by an industry expert. I wanted a team with a can-do attitude who works efficiently and creates wonders with the budget I have, and I found it with the team at LUX.

It has been a joy working with the LUX Design team who delivers on all fronts: exceptional client service and communication, thoughtful design that fits your life(style) and the budget you want, and overall just a worry-free, hassle-free, enjoyable experience.

I couldn't have done it without Nazneen and Negar at LUX. Both took such good care of me like I'm a multi-million dollar client (trust me, I'm far from it. I'm just a guy who's excited about his first home!) Negar was the Lead Design and oversaw the entire project with me - even as she was becoming a new mom - no ask was too big or small, and even though I was a very particular and fuzzy client, she never made me feel that way. Instead, I always felt listened to and my input was always respected, valued and wishes brought to life. I'm proud to say we've grown to become fast friends!

I noticed that the negative reviews online were not fair. I worked with the team at the height of COVID issues which resulted in a strain on the supply chain. It's important I highlight that LUX actually do go out of their way to accommodate your needs and rectify any mishaps that are not even because of them in the first place (thank you Nazneen!).

I had the pleasure of working with Lux Design to design my two-bedroom downtown condo. Negar was amazing to work with, her communication, dedication, passion, and her ability to curate my vision was brilliant. I have friends and family who have come and seen my place, and do not even recognize the place anymore.

It is so important that as a designer you are able to work with the client and make their vision come to life, and Lux design did exactly that. Lux Design in Toronto is the top of the home renovation business. Home renovation and design in Toronto are not for the inexperienced, nor are these undertaking inexpensive by any means. Lux charges top dollar for their services, but in this case you truly get what you pay for.

The money I invested in the services and workmanship I received from Lux made me a 100% profit when I sold the condo following the work performed by Lux Design. The project was finished on time and any problems that occured, as they will in any renovation project were dealt with quickly, efficiently and fairly by the company.

Top marks for both my designer, Marcella, and Nazneen at the Toronto office for their help and support throughout the project.

I hired Lux Designs and Negar on the "Condo Quickie" package to furnish my newly purchased condo from scratch.

I was incredibly impressed by Negar from start to finish! She did an awesome job of taking my vague suggestions about what kind of style I wanted and making this into a complete, real design. She thought of every detail, from furniture to floor coverings, light fixtures, wall decorations and artwork, and all the extras. I was super pleased with the result.

More than that, she has a fantastic work ethic -- I was a very fussy client and she took all of my suggestions, redoing parts of the design and finding new pieces as needed. She was available all day and late into the evening via text to discuss parts of the design. Also, when there were inevitably some small problems with some of the furniture ordering and delivery, she fixed everything personally. For example, when the last piece I ordered, a painting,
was not delivered in time for my housewarming party, she went so far as to loan me a painting so I wouldn't have an empty wall for the party!

All in all I was very happy with Negar's work and would highly recommend her to anyone.

We are long time clients of Isabelle, who is the Principal of Lux Design, and one of the most talented designers in the city. Isabelle designed our entire home and demonstrated a level of care that made us feel like she treated our home as her own.

Her dedication to our project was evident on the very first day we began our collaborative sessions to brainstorm different styles for our home. She came prepared with an incredible collage of pictures to give us an idea of different looks that we could achieve. She spent a lot of time trying to understand who we were as people and sought to solicit our opinion so that she could truly design a house that fit our family, our lifestyle, and our own tastes. No detail was too small for Isabelle.

Isabelle began with creating a new floor plan that maximized our space and increased its functionality. She was always respectful of our goals and found creative solutions where practicality, utility, and design came together.

The process of selecting flooring, paint colours, furniture, lighting, art, and accessories can be a daunting task for any individual, but Isabelle made this seem simple and effortless. She created an interior design book where multiple ‘looks’ were selected for each room so that we could chose one that we felt was the best fit and even gave us the ability to mix and match certain elements together.

With any project this large, there are going to be minor challenges that come up, which most people accept. What is most important is the manner in which these challenges are resolved. Isabelle’s actions and words have shown us time and time again that she is a champion for accountability. Regardless of what came up, whether it related to inventory that arrived damaged, or the need to modify an element of the design during construction, Isabelle dealt with everything professionally and ensured that we were completely satisfied.

We also had an opportunity to work closely with Nazneen, who is the Director of Operations at Lux Design. She was always available to speak with and clearly had an eye for detail as each of the invoices we received were all accurate; not an easy task considering all of the moving pieces.

Overall Isabelle’s design really pushed the boundaries whenever possible and as a result, our home is absolutely stunning!! She is an extremely talented designer and exudes passion for her work. We are so happy with the design of our home and could not have done it without Isabelle and Lux Design!

If you are looking for creativity and style coupled with organization and project execution the I would recommend Lux for your project.

We recently undertook a large renovation to our mid town home and worked with our designer Catalina and the management team at Lux to make it happen. They delivered on time and worked within our budget. They suggested so many unique ideas for our space that we would have never thought of, our home in a magazine and our family friends continue to rave about it every time they come over. We love coming home to it every day.

After over 2 years, LUX went above and beyond and addressed a repair on a sofa that I purchased from them. This shows they stand behind their products they offer to clients and want to ensure that their clients are happy, even after some time. We have been working with LUX Design since 2008 on the build-out of our Jimmys Coffee stores and are extremely pleased with their services. From the very first store on Portland street, LUX created a really cool concept that ended up becoming the benchmark for our fast growing chain of Coffee Shops. The LUX designers are very creative and aren’t afraid to push the envelope but also design with a realistic budget in mind – they are very fun to work with too! Since 2008, we have been building another coffee shop every 2 years, hiring them for each consecutive one. We have been featured in several publications worldwide including the New York Times and Toronto life and are proud to work with LUX as we continue to grow, we now have 8 cafes and growing! LUX Design has also consulted on one of our personal homes, they are a well-rounded firm with great ideas for both commercial and residential interiors.
