The Hardwood Guy

Aaron installed hardwood (2013) throughout the house including the stairs. Main floor ,upstairs hall and bedrooms. Aaron did a great job which we were happy with.

We hired him again this year (2015) in June to do the house we had moved into and he did another great job.The only caveat I would have is pick out your own Hardwood so you know exactly what you are getting and you may get it cheaper than he can. He did a good job of cleaning up, but would watch what he cleans the glue off with as he can remove some of the finish.

I contracted aaron to instal the laminate floor on our stairs in our home. Aaron did the installation and when it was completed I had seen that 90% of the joints were considerably gapped and he had tried to fill the space with putty. His mitres did not match on the trim work and on much of the trim work he did not even attempt to join them properly, he just butted up rounded edges to square edges. When the job was completed he had also left the mess from all his cuttings for me to clean up. I had called him to get him back to rectify the issues with his work and he told me he would return, after 3 appts that he missed he out and out told me that he would not return to make the repairs. Consequently, I have had to tear out all the flooring he installed and re install. So now I am out, 1) the $1600 I paid Aaron to install the flooring, 2) approx. $400 of materials, 3) the cost of re installation.
I would not recommend Aaron Pole/ the Hardwood Guy for any flooring installation.
