This company is a pleasure to work with. They arrived on time and kept me informed about what they were doing. Nate has a great team. The employees are polite. They cleaned up the work area and took all the garbage away. I have used Distinct Heating & Air Conditioning for some years for furnace maintenance and have been very comfortable using this company.

Our service technician is a real friendly individual and is very knowledgeable in the repair of furnaces. He also lets you know on what repairs he is going to do on your furnace and why it requires those repairs. He is more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the operation of your furnace. As a add bonus he is punctual. Highly recommended!

I was very impressed with the entire purchase process. From the detailed explanation of the installation at the time of quote to the care and attention of the equipment installation, I knew I was dealing with a company that does it right the first time. I highly recommend this company for all HVAC needs.

I was not in a state of panic about my furnace. I had a 25-year-old house with a 25-year-old furnace and wanted to get an upgrade without calling a company at 3 am needing to get the new one in now.
I had information packages from a Home Show a couple of years back and called in 2 companies for a quote.
The first company in did a walk about, asked a few questions and sent me a quote with 3 different options and combinations.
Nate from Distinct showed up; on time - did a walk around, asked many questions, pointed out several issues and problems with my current set up. Nate also explained exactly what they would do, how the job would go, the remedies to the issues he revealed and how York was a quality product with a very good warranty.
Nate then went through the various products they offered – all being the York brand, and explained the differences, and the benefits of each. We spent over one 1.5 hours and only ended because I had an online meeting. Following the meeting, I had a few more phone questions, before I made the choice to go with Distinct.
Two weeks later, Nate, Christian and Jordan completed the set up on the furnace, and did the rough in on the AC. The job took two full days, with dozens of measurements, (more like hundreds) making sure all was level, aligned and was finished to look neat, compact and easy to access for future maintenance. They even made sure that if I (or a future owner) wanted to finish the basement, all the work was done to make the finishing work easier.
During the install, all three who did the work answered all my questions, seemed to actually enjoy working together and were professional, pleasant and most of all - competent.
As an additional comment, Nate went beyond the scope of the normal job and sourced and installed 3 louvered vent covers, which were quite the eye sore.
Summary
Over the last 2-3 months, I have spent a great deal of time researching the various HVAC brands and products available in Calgary.
My choice came down not to the brand, for I feel the major brands have good product, but to the quality of the install. That is why I went with Distinct and everything I have experienced so far confirms I made the right choice.

So pleased to have had Annual maintenance completed on our furnace installed by Distinct last year. Effective service coordinated by administrator Dannii and expertly provided by technician Ed. All the precautions applied for our pandemic restrictions. Well done folks!

Extremely professional local and family owned company. Christian and Aidan were respectful and efficient and completed our furnace install and ac service in a timely manner. Easy to have in the house. Would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Murphy's Law, Our 10 year old Kenmore High efficiency furnace died in the middle of the night during the coldest week in Calgary in February 2021. Called into Distinct Heating and Cooling on the recommendation of a good friend that had patronized them in the past and were very happy with their workmanship. Spoke with Nate(Owner). He sent over Jordon and Aiden to diagnose and fix our furnace problem. Both techs were very friendly, courteous, and professional. They kept me informed as to what they found faulty, contacted their suppliers to confirm they could get the required parts, and then provided me with a quote as to the cost. After I approved, they acquired the parts and repaired our furnace in just a few hours from start to finish. After finishing the repair work they reviewed with me what they had done and what I should watch for in the coming hours until the house was back to normal operating temperature and provided a direct number to reach them if I had any questions or concerns during that time. I'm writing this review a week later and all has been fine since the repair was completed. I am very impressed with the repair performed by Distinct Heating and Cooling. Thanks Guys!

Their technician Ed has done my annual furnace maintenance for a couple of years now. He is professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal. I highly recommend this company for all your furnace needs.

Jordon, did a great job checking out my York furnace, replaced components/filters that are going defective, looked at my Humidifier and reset the timers. Company sends a text message for reminder and a photo of the technician that is showing up. Very pleased with Jordon's work and explanation. Does Great work.
