Distinct Heating & Cooling

This is our 2nd year using Distinct Heating to do the annual maintenance on our furnace and I like that they send a text with a photo of the tech who will be arriving at our door. Both times we have had Ed who is friendly, thorough and takes the time to explain what he is doing. Quality customer service will keep us coming back.

Distinct Heating and Cooling installed my furnace some 8 years ago. Every time that I would call them for service be it regular maintenance or furnace trouble they have always responded promptly. They let you know which technician will be responding, when he will arrive and a picture of the technician.
The last call I had with them was on Friday night Jan 22. Ed was on call. My furnace was not blowing out heat. He asked me to check a few things to see if I can get the furnace to work. I change the batteries in the thermostat and the furnace kicked in. On Saturday morning the furnace was not working again. I called Ed and he came out and did the necessary repairs on Saturday to get the furnace working. What I liked was that Ed explained to me what the issue was, what parts he was replacing and approx how long he was going to be.

The entire process working with Distinct was super easy! Their booking system and reminder system with texts and emails to let the customer know what tech is coming to site makes things super easy! And the service and advice was professional and expert. Great experience! Thanks!

Jordan from Distinct quite literally saved my Family's Christmas this year. I had my furnace failing and had initially hired another firm who wasn't able to fix my issue after 4 visits. It took him no more than 5 minutes for him to diagnose and fix the problem, and he took the extra time to explain everything to me. Extra thanks to him for being able to come in quickly so my family can have a warm and stress free Christmas morning this year.

Distinct Heating & Cooling installed a new furnace and updated our A/C in 2019. We have been very happy with the furnace performance.
They followed up to do an annual inspection and tune-up this fall. The service technician Jordan did a thorough job. He is a very friendly helpful tech and it is nice to have a local person who is familiar with the neighbourhood you can trust when you are dealing with home services.

From the intial quote and discussion with Nate right through the installation of 2 new furnances and humidifier by Kristian and team - Distinct delivered fantastic service. The craftmanship was excellent - so much so the city inspector commented on it. We look forward to the annual service and have already taken advantage of the many tips offered along the way to increase performance and be better prepared for changing weather conditions. Truly appreciate the text and email reminders when the team is coming - that includes a picture so we know who to expect.

For the last 6 years we have had our maintenance done through Distinct. They are always professional and trustworthy. Last week we had Jordan do the service and he was friendly and had great tips to save us money. He even called 30 mins ahead and said he could come early if I preferred...that never happens!!

I recently found out through a inspection that I needed to replace one of my two furnaces. Due to the age of both furnaces it made sense to replace both at the same time. Right from the initial consultation and quote for the work, Nate exhibited his commitment to quality and the pride that he takes in quality and workmanship. Honestly the knowledge and attention to detail during the initial meeting was what made me decide to use Distinct giving me confidence that one of the biggest purchases I will make for my home was going to be done right and with care. The installation only confirmed what I expected would be the case. The technicians were extremely friendly and professional. They took care and pride in doing the job to their high standards and the workmanship was phenomenal. They took the time to answer any and all questions that I had and proactively explained pertinent items to me. it was a pleasure to have them working in my home. Distinct installed two YORK hi-efficiency furnaces in 2014. These units have performed flawlessly for 6 years. The Honeywell programmable thermostats are the best! Recently I noticed the main floor unit was not working. I called Distinct and they offered to send a repair guy right away. Since it was not critical we arranged for the next day. Jordan Dolter was the tech who showed up. What a guy! He is very personable and knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing as he did it. I would highly recommend Jordan to anyone.
