Gas fireplace had black soot buildup on glass. Called Jeff and told him the problem. Could tell he was a knowledgable gas technician just by talking to him for a few minutes. Came over at time and day that we scheduled. Fixed the issue perfectly and explained the problems clearly. Never seen the fireplace run so clean and glass that clear plus did all the co2 testing etc. Very professional. Easy to pay with credit card. Highly recommend.

Very impressed with Jeff's work. In the past, I unfortunately spent under $1,000.00 to have my fireplace repaired by two companies I thought were reputable. Jeff, in under a hour, identified the problem, replaced a $17.00 part and had my fireplace working and looking like new. Very friendly, reliable and honest advice and service. Very impressed with Jeff's service. In under one hour he diagnosed the problem we were having with our gas fireplace (flame goes out after a few minutes) and fixed it with a $17. part. This could have been a very expensive repair ($300+ just to replace the gas valve) but Jeff quickly found and solved the problem. Experienced, knowledgeable and honest service. Very pleased with service/was running abit late and called to let me know/ did a thorough cleaning and checking of switches/adjusted the flame/ checked wiring. On completion the work area clean and gas fire place working wonderfully. Jeff was concerned regarding carbon monoxide and all was checked and advised another carbon monoxide detecter in the bedroom. Jeff was happy to explain all service done. I am now sitting in front of my beautiful flaming fireplace! Thanks Jeff for a job well done. After being told by several firms that advertise that they service and sell gas fireplaces that our older Napoleon could not be repaired, and that we would have to buy a new one, we found True Flame, who found the needed part and did the repair. We were impressed by the intelligence and professionalism that True Flame brought to the job.

Jeff was impressive in every way - arriving on time, finding simple problem with fireplace, cleaning, and explaining what needed doing and why, and what might be the next part that will need servicing. From now on he will be our go-to person for the fireplace and I would recommend him highly to others.

Contacted Jeff to check our fireplace which was not starting up. Pilot did not light. Wanted a second opinion after a different repair man said the gas valve is broken and needs replacement (very pricy). Jeff returned my call within the hour and took the time to hear about the problem and my concerns. He arrived for the appointment 15 minutes earlier and made sure the work area is protected before starting to work. He identified the problem with the pilot very quickly (it was not the gas valve but the thermocouple- a less expensive part). Jeff did a complete check up of the fireplace and cleaned it up as well. He checked our (old) thermostat and made some recommendations if needs to be changed in the future. Also checked that we have a carbon monoxide detector. Jeff is very professional, thorough and polite. Price of part was a fraction of the original estimate we got from a different company. We are looking forward to enjoying our fireplace this coming winter and will definitely contact Jeff at True Flame for maintenance and repair in the future.

My fireplace flame was very low. Another fireplace technician indicated that it was because a spider had blocked my gas line. The other technician cleaned the gas line but the flame was still low. I called Jeff and scheduled a service call and described what was previously done. Jeff cleaned the unit and soon found the blockage. It was indeed a spider web. Jeff is knowledgeable, professional and polite. He takes care to protect the area he is working in and spends time to clean up. I would recommend him for any fireplace service.

I called Jeff because our pool heater wasn't working and he arrived on time the next morning. He quickly diagnosed the problem and offered me a couple of options. In under an hour the pool heater was functioning and ready to go. Jeff is very courteous and knowledgeable. I will definitely call him again.

Jeff was very informative and knowledgeable about gas fireplaces. We needed cleaning and information on how to work the remote control. Jeff was careful to keep the house clean while working, and the result of his work was fantastic. I will continue to use his services in the future!
