Capital Appliance Repair

Repair man arrived when expected, diagnosed the problem quickly, told us there were 2 parts available in Toronto, he would be back in a week. That was 3 weeks ago. I called several times, was told I would get a call back, never did. Called back was put on hold and disconnected. Called back and was finally told the part was on back order would not be available for ‘weeks’, why did it take 3 weeks to tell me? I asked to speak to a supervisor, the operator told me that was impossible due to lockdown. I asked for a number, she refused, put me on hold mid sentence where I was disconnected. I asked for a refund and was told they would mail a cheque, really!! They took my deposit immediately via visa and they’re going to send me a cheque. Very rude operator, very shady company do go near them. Wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy.

I was having issues with my Dryer and called Capital Appliance Repair to come to take a look and diagnose the problem. The company tried to cancel on me last minute the day of, I was not impressed! When the technician finally did show up to my house he was here for a total of 15 minute turned on my dryer once and listed out a bunch of issues it could be. He wouldn't do any tests on the dryer or even pull it apart/look at it. I asked him multiple times to do a test on the burner as he told me they easily could do that but he didn't want to do it that night because it was "late and his end of shift" he told me if I wanted the test done I would have to pay the service fee again ontop of the $112 I just paid for him to basically hangout. Since there was so many possibilities on what the issue could be I asked him if he could email me an quote for the possible repairs so I can decide. This was on Wednesday and I still have not heard back from the company, I tried called on Thursday to speak with a manager and I was hung up on twice and told someone would call me back on Friday. It's now Sunday and I haven't hard back from a manager, they won't answer there phones anymore and I still haven't received my quote for the possible work. In the mean time of this company wasting my time I was actually able to hire a reliable company to come in and fix my dryer all in the time I'm still waiting for a response from Capital Appliance Repair. HORRIBLE COMPANY!! THEY HAVE HORRIBLE SERVICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

Both refrigerator ice maker and stove had problems. The technician carefully analyzed each one, did some tests and made some very useful recommendations that we have chosen to follow. We are very satisfied with the professional courteous service.

Outstanding service by the technician George. Courteous, knowledgeable, thorough and expedient. We were extremely satisfied with Capital Appliance Re-air and would highly recommend them. I would not recommend a Samsung refrigerator! The reasonable repair cost certainly outweighed the replacement cost, considering our unit is less than 7-years old. Friendly, informative service. Made the appointment the previous evening and given an appointment with no hassle for the following afternoon. The service person arrived on time and got right to business, advising what the problem might be and how he was going to proceed. He quickly identified the problem and asked my authorization to fix it. No sooner said than done. Always helpful and clear in his explanations. Great service with a smile!

I can't say enough good things about capital appliance repair. The service was prompt, accurate, and cost-effective. They came when they said they were going to come, they correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed it with no friction, and little hassle. Their service was so good, I asked if the same person could go and assist my mother with her appliance problems. They went the next day, problem solve. Fast, courteous, and highly professional. If you need any small appliance work, call them. You won't regret it.

request was made for repair on 26 feb.2021 still no service or updates now its may 4 2021. quick on the credit card but no result even after a few calls only to be on the receiving side of rudeness with no accurate update. according to the adds they are completely the opposite.

Capital Appliance was clear on how they charged & came when they said they would. The tech was extremely pleasant and showed us the problem with the washing machine. He came back as promised with the new part and made the repair

Viktor cam over earlier than expected on Saturday morning. Identified the problem. Gave us a rough estimate of how much it would cost to repair or replace the compressor and ice making machine. Very professional and courteous.

Horrible customer service. Had technician in to diagnose problem with stove. Said he'd get back to us next day with status of parts availability. I had to repeatedly follow-up and 3 days later finally was told that the parts were not available and the stove couldn't be fixed. I've since contacted other repair companies who can get the part in within a week, and I even went direct to the manufacturer and they said I could order the part myself. Very frustrating when trying to cook for a household without a stove, so the slow response and inaccurate information made this so much harder to manage.
