I woke up Saturday morning to find the house cold - 6 degrees colder than when the family went to bed. The furnace wasn't igniting the gas. After calling a different company, 2 hours went by without a call back to know if someone would be able to come out same or next day. I cancelled the call and discovered Sarman Air and the reviews on HomeStars. I called the number and received a prompt call back from John. I told him my issue and concern, due to weather being below freezing for the night. He was at my house in under an hour. He hadn't planned to take any calls, but he took my emergency. In under an hour, he diagnosed the problem, and with the supplies in his van, he had the perfect solution and the heat was back on, less than 2 hours when I first contacted him. Even after he made the diagnosis, he did a couple of checks just to confirm he wasn't missing anything. His fees are very reasonable and fair. Courteous, experienced and diligent. And I didn't have to go through a call centre. I was able to speak to him directly. I am happy to know there are genuine, honest professionals like John. And even happier I discovered him on HomeStars!

I called John on a cold Friday to check on our furnace and the the annual maintenance. We were not overly happy with how it was warming up the house. John was quick and came over on Saturday morning. John not only performed the annual maintenance, but also he spotted an important issue and fixed it right away. I’m very happy with the service and highly recommend him.

I contacted John yesterday to discuss an issue with our fireplace we’ve been having. He was very professional and clear about estimate costs and arranging a time to come. Although we were in no rush to have it fixed so soon it was very appreciated that John was able to fit us in the very next day early in the morning, most likely before all his other appointments for the day. He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave us several options based on budget to replace the faulty switch. He even had an original new Napoleon remote control part with him which made it quick and convenient. Communication and scheduling as well as pricing was fair and a breeze. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to family and friends.

I had a tankless water heater installed by another company. There were issues after one week. I called John and he came by the same day and fixed the problems. Good, inexpensive service. I'll keep his contact for future needs.

I had the pleasure of meeting Hojat last week and he handled my issue like a continent professional. It's not often that you can get great service for an affordable price, but this group has it nailed. They were able to diagnose my issue and fixed it within minutes. Highly recommend.

John came by promptly within only a few hours after calling him, he diagnosed the problem with my old water heater and we decided to replace it with a new one.

Again here, John was very prompt and had the job finished within couple of hours. John even fixed a problem we had with the shut off valve to the previous water heater.

Overall so far I'm very happy with Sarman Air, hopefully I won't need to test their labour warranty in the future but all indications are that should I need to John will come through for me.

John moved some things around and was able to come out on very short notice for what appeared to be a leak in my furnace. He quickly diagnosed the problem and recommended a couple of courses of action. We went with a simple fix and John have the furnace a once over pointing out some things to watch for in the future. Overall fast, courteous, and honest. We didn't pay for an expensive fix that we didn't need. Will definitely call John again.

I recently signed a contract for a new furnace with Sarman. I had very specific requirements for my furnace and John patiently provided several solutions and their associated costs.
I found their offers technically sound and reasonably priced. With his help I managed to select the right solution.
John installed the furnace for us. He completed the job professionally and to the best of our satisfaction. He was punctual, courteous and very safety oriented.
