Nick has been 100% honest, direct and informative throughout the process of switching to a heat pump. He's been great to respond to my many questions about the process and I am pleased with the results.

There are things that I appreciate more than just sticker price, and that is transparency, honesty, and being responsive. Nick and his team delivered on all of that.

About a month ago, my AC broke down (over 20 years old) and Nick educated me on Heat Pumps, which I did not know about prior to talking with him. He walked me through the entire process on how to obtain the full grant from the government through the energy auditor which was relatively straight forward. He was not pushy nor did he force me to opt for a heat pump and was willing to just install a regular AC. I did my research and although it had a huge upfront cost, in the long run, it really made sense financially to go through with it.

I took a small risk in terms of only getting a single quote from ICS due to the fact that Nick is well known in the neighbourhood (I got his contact from a local facebook group). When I told the energy auditor the price of the entire service, he did mention that it was a really good price so I was comforted to know I wasn't getting squeezed.

Nick walked me through the installation, what he was going to try to do, what he wasn't sure of (due to the fact that I had a finished basement so he couldn't see) and ensured whatever he did he would ask for my permission - i.e. replacing copper line vs flushing. He gave full disclosure that his team would need to open up holes in the drywall which I was ok with. He did mention they fixed other clients drywall up but since I have done so many drywall repairs myself, I was fine with them leaving it for me to finish it up - I preferred it that way anyways.

On the day of the installation, Nick and team were fully transparent on the things they found, and managed to minimize the amount of (drywall) damage in order to install the entire system the right way (i.e. running comms cabling in the interior of the house vs outside)

Post install, I continued to communicate with him with issues with the Napolean Thermostat that he told me was a bit finicky even before I purchased it (again, not pressuring me to buy it as I could have just continued to use the ecobee that I had before), but he followed up with tech support to get to the bottom of certain issues such as a persistent (and annoying) error message. At the time of this writing, all technical issues have been resolved so I am happy with the new system. These things really had nothing to do with Nick but I appreciate that he went out of his way to support me rather than myself reaching out to Napolean directly to deal with software issues.

Overall, I am very happy with ICS and would recommend Nick and team

I was referred to Nick after my AC died and my furnace was about 20 years old. He discussed options and was not at all pushy. He recommended the company to do the home audit to get the various rebates. The auditor was prompt in doing that and once I confirmed the order with Nick - he and Matt were on site in 2 days.

They were both very pleasant to have around and did a great job. My mechanical space is now cleaner and neater than it has been in years. Electrician Drew who they brought in for the electrical work was also great.

The new system is amazing. While the old system sounded like a747 taking off, I can only hear the new system if I stand next to the indoor or outdoor sections.

The overall effectiveness during the hot weather is amazing. The temperature is much more balanced on all floors and the airflow through the ducts is very gentle. House is more comfortable with 2 degrees less cooling than before.

Now I am just waiting to see what happens to my hydro bills. My Enercare/Enbridge bill will drop to $0 (those services are now all discontinued

I used interior climate solutions (ICS) to fix an issue with my heat pump specific to my third floor previously, was very please with the responsiveness and the quality of the service. When my main air conditioner went, I had went back to ICS.

Nick was great to work with, provided the right solution and since I was upgrading an old system made me aware of grants that were available. My true cost was less than the full sticker price. Nick was able to source a cold weather heat pump system relatively quickly that met my need. The installation was very well done - I couldnt be happier. Nick is very knowledgeable on HVAC systems heat pumps etc.

ICS was very responsive to my questions and anytime I need to reach them. Prior to deciding to replace the system they provided advice on troubleshooting the old system, which I appreciated.

I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them.

The team handled a complex heat pump installation, and got it done in just a day. Very professional and were quick to think through and implement effective and cost conscious solutions.

We had our furnaces installed 11 years ago by one of the large companies in Toronto. Their proposed service contract was outrageously expensive, but we were lucky to find a very senior HVAC service guy with very reasonable rates. But then he retired! It was quite a struggle to find a company willing to do service work, almost everyone prefers to do installations. We wanted to stick to a small, owner-operated company with excellent reviews. Nick at Interior Climate Solutions was just right.

Towards the end of winter one of our two furnaces gave out. The house was tolerable but not warm enough. Nick came over and diagnosed the problem - a blown motor on the furnace. Of course it had to be the most expensive part, on a furnace that was showing distressing signs of wear and tear, a year after the warranty was up. It wasn't worthwhile doing an expensive repair. We decided to replace the furnace.

Nick came up with two suggestions, both quite reasonably priced. It only took about a week or 10 days until he let us know that our new furnace had arrived - and that he had a cancellation, so could he come the next day? We were delighted.

Nick and his two man team showed up on time. They completed the work in less time than expected - about three hours. They were respectful and a pleasure to deal with, and they cleaned up beautifully. I couldn't be more satisfied.
