We had half our house completed and was so impressed with the quality, cost. The service right from the start to the installer. Wait time for the custom blinds was very reasonable in these times. We had them install blinds in the remainder of our house.

Our blind was installed in the basement, as a room divider. The consultant came up with great ideas and helped with colour selection, as well. The installers were quick, efficient, polite and clean. All in all, it was a great experience, and we are pleased with the result. It was also about $1500 less expensive than another quote from another company.

Great overall experience. Sales rep was pleasant, professional and knew all the products very well. Installer showed up on time and did a perfect job. Budget Blinds provides excellent value for your money.

I found Budget Blinds to be very efficient, the choices were excellent and the Australian sales woman was very patient whilst I decided on colour. The installation was completed very efficiently and quickly. (In the past we have installed all our blinds ourselves and it has never been quick and easy!
All appointments and due dates were on time.

Five stars for sales. Two stars for installation. We were looking for blackout shades for three small windows up a vaulted stairwell. The response to our request for a quote was quick, and the sales person really went out of her way to get measurements in a very tricky and high spot. We ordered three automatic shades (as the area is 24 feet at its highest and manual shades were not an option), and one manual shade for a window below. The shades arrived on time and look great.

The installation service left much to be desired. After our blinds were installed, when the remote was being demonstrated to my husband, he noticed that the blinds weren't always responding correctly. He was assured by the installer that it was just the angle as we were at the bottom of the stairwell. He did not go up the stairs and try them again. When the installers were gone we continued to try the blinds and found that blinds 1 and 3 usually worked, but that #2 was very temperamental and had a mind of its own. As well, at that time we realized that the installers hadn't left me any manuals, nor had they explained how to change the batteries in the units.

When we called back and requested the manuals the office receptionist was surprised that we had not been given them. We asked for the manuals to be emailed. They never were. We also booked another appointment to have the installers come back to fix the problem with blind #2, which took another week.
When the installers came back we were told it was this particular product and that we had to push the buttons a few times to get the blind to work. The fact that the installer knew about the issues with this particular product and the fact that they are still installing blinds with this particular issue is concerning. We were also told that they don't give out the manuals so that we wouldn't play with the codes as it would cost $170 for them to come out and fix it if we did. As we are not children, we found this explanation particularly irritating. It was not until an email to the Budget Blind’s owner was sent that the manual was sent to us. The problem with the blind #2 was never addressed by Budget Blinds in the owners follow up email, and we are stuck having to fuss with it to open and close it.

They are probably OK for manual blinds, but we would not recommend their installation for automatic blinds.

Budget Blinds continues to perform above and beyond!! We are thrilled with the room divider that this company was able to provide. The front entrance to our open concept home looks onto tow stairways - one up and one down. The rumpus room is fully visible as you enter the house. We wanted a movable wall at the base of the descending stairs to give privacy to any house guests i our basement living area. Budget blinds provided the perfect s solution - a translucent privacy vertical blknd that looks like a feature wall when closed. It adds elegance, versatility, and functionality by offering lots of diffuse light inside the room as well as total privacy from the front door. Easy, clean, quick to open and close. This was the perfect solution. Thank you Sharon, Rob, and Zach for the time and care you all put into fitting this precisely to our needs. We are tremendously appreciative!!!

I think many companies can provide decent service when everything goes smoothly. The real test is when all doesn't turn out exactly as planned - that's what separates a good business from an exceptional business. And I consider Budget Blinds exceptional.

I got several quotes for blinds for our whole house. I was looking for good quality at a reasonable cost, and a company that would stand behind it's product and installation. Jesse discussed our options and answered our numerous questions, and was personable and knowledgeable. The quote was far below any of the other estimates we received, and their all-encompassing warranty was far superior to the other companies. We placed our order.

Due to a change implemented recently with their manufacturer, the original request we had for an unusually shaped window could not be accommodated. The standard alternate options weren't meeting our needs, so Jesse went out of his way to come up with a solution for us. It was more expensive that our original order, but they offered to do it for the quoted price. Because there would be a delay, they were also very flexible in scheduling the install as a whole, based on our preferences.

When the blinds came, there was an issue with one of them due to a manufacturing defect, as well as a slight problem with how one hung over our patio doors. Lee the installer documented the issues, took pictures and assured us they would be taken care of - no excuses or arguments. His approach was very refreshing and we were pleased that they were standing behind their product.

All through the process, the office staff kept us informed of timelines and appointments, and sent confirmations - we didn't have to contact them once from our end. The new blinds came and were installed at no extra cost. We are thrilled with the results (they are beautiful) and the fabulous service and are completely satisfied.

This is a long review, but I think when you find a business that is so professional and stands by their word as firmly as Budget Blinds, it should be recognized. We have done extensive renovations to our house so have dealt with many companies, and not many meet the standard that Jesse, Lee, Zach and Anne set (there were other office staff but I have misplaced their names - sorry!). We wholeheartedly recommend them!

Our old blinds were falling apart and dirty. Budget gave a good quote, had a nice selection and great salesman who didn't try to upset us. Installer came on time and finished in under an hour.
