Service call was quick, the person came in within a few hours of the call. They charged a $99 fee for the diagnostic visit. Within a few minutes he identified the problem pretty quickly, and indicated it would be a quick fix, which it was. He mentioned it would be another $250 for labor and part cost. It took a few minutes and we were up and running. Overall the gentleman was informative and helpful, and had the parts to fix it in the van. My rating is more about the high price involved in making the fix. Researching it, the part itself is $20 on Amazon, and the labour cost I had already paid for with the $99 for the 25 minutes he was here. Looking around I find that the reasonable cost for a company to come in and do this is about half of what I paid. So while I'm happy with the result, I'm a little disappointed in the price, and there is very little opportunity to shop around when your furnace is down.

The roof looks good, and time will tell how the quality holds up. My main gripe is that I was told it would be 3-4 weeks to install. I indicated I was in a rush because I had a leak, and they told me no problem, they'd put a rush on it. My roof was installed 6-7 weeks later instead, and made it feel like a bait and switch. Communication on timing was not great, and I had to ask for updates, with responses days later. After the roof was installed, I had to pick up dozens of scrap shingles in my yard. Overall, we're satisfied with the final product, but not with the way it was sold to us, and the service & communication could have been better. That said, we had quotes and interactions with many other roofing companies, and from lack of insurance, to mis-representing the products that were being sold, there are a lot of companies out there which are not quite honest. The price quoted was what they said it would be, everything was official, with insurance, quotes and taxes. Finally, they were helpful in answering some follow up questions on installation specifics, so overall I would recommend them to friends, with a caveat to get timelines for installation written into the contract up front.
