On June 10, 2006 we went to the Mississauga store. We decided on a model that would suit us, but we wanted choice of colour and fabric. This would be a custom job, and we were told it would take 6 to a maximum of 9 weeks. I was content with this arrangement.
On August 31st almost 12 weeks later phoned, asking for the manager to call back, as I had not received the goods. After futile attempts to reach a manager, a sales clerk would look into it and say that it would be two more weeks..."I promise, please be a little more patient." At the time I asked the manager call me back and confirm this info. Never got the call.
Two weeks later on Thursday Sep 14 I called to inquire again and asked for manager. I left 3 messages. No return call.
On friday, Again I explained to a sales person by phone that I was promised, that the sofa set would be ready. This guy would spend a half hour researching this, and looking for the original invoice (probably burried under a desk). He advised again that it would be another two weeks, but could not tell me why there was further delay. I advised him this was unacceptable and that I wanted my money back. He begged I wait the additional two weeks, but I have had enough at this point.
Saturday I went into the store, and low and behold no manager, (or at least he was hiding out back somewhere). They refused to refund my money, and said "it will be two more weeks, deal with it".
