Hired M&R on a referral from a friend to replace a flat roof on a century+ house in Riverdale in November 2014. Very pleased with M&R and highly recommend them. A very thorough assessment and estimate
was provided with multiple photos, clear explanations and included copies of crew’s credentials and professional development. From quote stage to end of project Maciej or Marcin were available by phone, returning calls promptly and answering questions in a clear and helpful manner. Although site access etc was difficult and job required the removal of 4 old roofs the crew worked quickly and efficiently and on time to install new roof. House and property were protected during work and site was tidy and debris etc cleared at end of day. Maciej kept in touch during project any issues (e.g., including old chimney removal) were brought to us in timely manner. Crews showed up and worked hard: they were professional and courteous. Very happy with this company: roof looks great and have received positive comments from neighbours

We needed to get our roof reshingled in the Fall of 2014 and I contacted 8 different roofing companies go get quotes. Only two companies got back to me within 10 days of my request (and some companies I contacted twice). One of them was M&R Roofing and they responded to my e-mail within 24 hours and I had a quote within 72 hours. Ivan, who did the quote, got on the roof and took pictures and they were included in a detailed quote. The quote I received was considerably less than the one I received from the other “large” roofing company. After requesting to get the roof done by M&R, Ivan came back at my request to secure a tarp over an area that was starting to have a small leak to hold me over until they could put on the new shingles. I was contacted a few days prior to the crew coming to arrange everything. The roofing crew did a wonderful job on the roof, cleaned up the site well, and were very courteous and professional. I am very happy with the entire experience with M&R and I highly recommend them.

I have never written a review before, but always read other reviews when choosing a company. M&R Roofing deserves this acknowledgement.

We hired M&R Roofing to replace our shingles along with building a sloping section where both my roof and neighbours roof join.

I have held off replacing my shingles due to not having the confidence with certain roofers in replacing the section that joins both homes.

Roofers have told me that they would replace my shingles but not fix the joined area. Others quoted ridiculous amounts of money to just fix the joined roof area.

After researching I found that M&R Roofing had great reviews and had seen their trucks in my area.

After getting numerous quotes, I can say that Maciej from M&R Roofing was the only one that clearly understood what was required to be done and how they would go about fixing that joined area, along with replacing all other shingles.

M&R Roofing's quote was very fair and detailed what was to be done. Also, everything was included in the quote, no extra charges like I found on other quotes

They showed up on time and worked as a team. The whole crew came across as professionals who repair roofs for a living and not jobbers on a ladder rushing to finish the work.

After each day they cleaned up all the excess garbage and left the home clean of any debris.

Hired M&R based on a referral from a customer. They provided a professional quote with a detailed overview of the project, were flexible and assisted us in finding the right fix to work within our budget. Other than a slight delay in scheduling the project, the experience was a very positive one. Workers were great and other than some expected noise had no impact on our retail business below that remained open during the job. We had a very old and decaying flat roof that had damage due to punctures which caused major leaks into our retail business. They fixed us up in time for winter, on budget, and provided photos of the work completed. Would definitely recommend to others!

M&R replaced my roof, a mixture of flat and shingle, approximately two years ago. I had them come back to replace my eavestroughs within the past month. All the work was performed professionally, on schedule and consistent with the quote provided. I'd highly recommend M&R.

M&R replaced a roof and wooden deck for me in late 2013. They did a very good job from providing a professional quote and making suggestions and recommendations beforehand to keeping me advised of their progress and showing me additional problems that they found when the old roof was removed. Don't kid yourself there will always be hidden problems with old flat roofs! These repairs will never be included in the original quote but I was advised to be prepared for them before I accepted their quote. It was no surprise that there was an additional cost to the repairs however it was only to cover the cost of materials and additional labour. The additional cost was very reasonable and far less than bringing another contractor to make the repairs.

Recently, we encountered a leak inside the ceiling after heavy rains. I called Maciej to come to check the roof for leaks but found none in the roof. He did find that a squirrel had chewed a hole through the aluminum eaves and through the fascia. Maciej came back on his next trip into the area and repaired the hole for me. This was nearly a year after the initial installation of the roof. I am very impressed with M&R Roofing, their service and how well they stand behind their work.

With winter coming it was getting quite urgent that my leaky old roof be replaced, so I hired M&R based on all the positive HomeStars reviews. Unlike a lot of other roofers I called, M&R was always very quick to get back to my phone calls and e-mails, and within a week of deciding to hire them, the job was completed. My roof was not a complicated job, low slope and relatively small surface area, so it was able to be completed in one day. I received quotes from 3 other companies and theirs was very reasonable, not the lowest I received but definitely not the highest. The final invoice was exactly as quoted and they didn't require a deposit. Excellent customer service. No more leaks in my roof either (that I can tell so far)!

We were doing repairs to our back addition and found out it needed a new (flat) roof. Maciej was quick to provide a quote and took pictures of everything so he could show us the issues we had. We also knew our sloped roof was on its last legs. Maciej was very honest with us and said we could make it another season or two if we wanted to wait to address the sloped roof (but we figured we might as well get everything done at once). Our contractor also reviewed the quote and said it was good and reasonable. M&R left our yard in better shape than when they started (even saved us some raking work). Our neighbours were also impressed - they took M&R's details for when they need to do their roof. Great experience!
