This was our first reno, and a big one at 1700 sq. ft. to start with. Vitaly, Igor and their crew transformed our basement in weeks rather than months and we are thrilled with the results. We added in a large spa like bathroom, new laundry room, big bedroom, walk in closet, multi purpose room, and home theatre/bar area. The team is like a well oiled machine, hard working craftsmen who know their stuff. Vitaly and Igor listened carefully to our wants and needs, and struck the right balance advising us based on experience. They made the experience as stress free as a reno this size could be. They aren't for you if you are expecting autocad designs, but they work with you to get the best design that works for you, help you choose the right colours and design, and answer all your questions (and as newbies, we asked a lot!).

We are very satisfied with our finished basement. Our main contact person, Vitaliy, was helpful, polite and prompt in responding to calls. The various teams work long hours to complete the work, and the basement was finished in weeks, not months. All of our minor concerns were dealt with and our basement looks great.

Our basement reno was a smaller one, approx 900 sq ft, we did a workout room with a closet, pantry, powder room, enclosed furnace with a living space & play area for our 2 kids.

Our experience with finished basement.ca was absolutely excellent from start to finish. Vitaliy and Kyle provided us with a clear quote for our basement and went through all the details which were outlined in our final contract. There were no surprises throughout the reno as everything was clearly laid out. This company provides excellent customer service that is beyond imaginable. They always responded to our calls, and answered all our questions promptly. When designing the basement, Igor’s on-site design was an eye-opening experience for us. He has such innovative design ideas to optimize every square foot of space. We now have 2 large closets for storage that we never thought was possible in our space. The showroom allowed us to view a large selection of options to make our basement look great. It was great to take many of the samples home, and there was no pressure to make any decisions too quickly. During the reno, the crews on site were extremely polite and worked very hard. The progress each day was so obvious and amazing to witness the transformation. This company has very experienced crews that take their job seriously and aim to please the customer throughout the reno. Mariya organizes the scheduling perfectly and ensured that we were always aware on the process, who would be on site and the next steps. I certainly had my doubts whether our basement could be finished in 2 weeks, but wow these folks certainly delivered on that commitment and exceeded our standards by far. I have already recommended these folks to family and friends, and many have commented on how great our basement looks. We thought they are experts and paid extra.. but they turned out to be not.. they are great in creating the aesthetic value of the basement like making niches, covering the old stairwell with some wood and make it look good…but we doubt if they have actual in-depth expertise in areas like plumbing, drain connections, floor leveling, door fitting, sliding doors, building storage cabinets ( even basic ones), etc. Soon after the basement was finished it looked good… then we started to have problems .. like nails protruding, sagging storage shelve ( the shelve was not given enough support while considering the length of it), dangling sliding doors, connecting the toilet drain without putting some thought on where to connect which now became a leveling issue and is costing us a whole lot of dollars ( as the floor & concrete has to be broken to level the drains and re-floor everything) which they are not even ready to talk of providing the re-flooring service (where we are ready to pay at a reasonable price if they talk). While constructing what we observed that some one have to be at home as the crew keep on asking some advice which they say may cost but do not have exact value… then we end of knowing it late while they already finish it… the crew and everyone spoke very nicely and they appeared good but when we had problem they are not coming to the table to find a solution for us, instead they are going in defensive mode.

While gutting the basement of our Mississauga house we found we were in need of an entire basement overhaul -- termite damage, severe plumbing issues, as well as a large section of the floor (hidden under a tile floor) that wasn't concrete. After getting rid of the termites, we had several contractors come over to address the state of the basement. The prices were all over the place and nothing felt right. Then we called Finishebasement.ca. The guys spent an hour or so taking notes, measuring, and asking us questions while we walked through the space. They did such a thorough inspection that we were ready to hire them on the spot. The price was right, the plan of attack was great, and the details were all clear.
Finishebasement.ca started work shortly after that. Demo, concrete floor poured, bathroom, new windows, doors, framing, walls, tile, painting, custom shelves... everything they did looks great. Even little things, such as the trim around the windows, clearly show the work of skilled craftsmen. They also referred us to an amazing plumber who coordinated with them as the basement was worked on. We are very happy with their job, and our basement now looks great.

There crew were the most amazing and friendly people we ever met..nothing was ever a bother and they were always neat and tidy.
