Gary is the BEST contractor we had the pleasure of working with on our home. A completely new furnace and radiator system went in, he gave sound advice on what to replace and what we could re-use. Professional, courteous and very open and honest about his work.

He went above and beyond to do what was best for us, vs. what would be most profitable to him. He values his customers and his quality of work above all else. I would highly recommend his services and he will be servicing our new system for life!

Gary is an excellent service provider and repair person. I've worked with him at both my home and company. He's direct, offers various solutions (when available), does the work, stays late if needed, and always cleans up after himself.

I've used him to repair ductwork that wasn't connected properly in my basement apartment and to assist with moving and installing a new thermostat at home. I'll happily work with him again in the future.

I would recommend Gary to anybody and everybody who has heating / air conditioning needs. Due to the ice storm December 21, 2013 and like many others, i was out of power. No heat or hydro for 5 days. I was very concerned the pipes would freeze and burst, flooding my house. In sharing my concerns with Gary, he suggested i get a generator. Living in Scarborough (the hardest hit area) there were no generators to be found locally. Gary found one in Burlington. He drove out there, picked it up, delivered it to Scarborough, primed it, rerouted the wiring from the water heater and the furnace to the generator, prepped my house ensuring no cold air could get in the sliding glass doors where the extension chords passed through from the generator to my lights and appliances. There was heat in my house within minutes and he did all this on Boxing Day. Gary wouldn't accept payment until the power was restored to the area in which he returned to my house and rewired everything to its original state. He also advised me on care and storage of the unit and helped me put it away. Many, many thanks Gary for being there! Very affordable and money well spent.

Words cannot describe my appreciation to Gary and crew for the professional and efficient work regarding the installation of my new furnace and A/C . All I knew was that I had very old units and in preparation to sell my house was in the market of purchasing a new furnace and a/c.
Not knowing much about the industry, I contacted Reliance. I was just about to deal with them. I confided to a friend regarding my purchase/quote
with Reliance and he immediately contacted Gary. Within a few hours, Gary was at my house. He assessed my situation and made some recommendations and gave me a quote. Without much hesitation, I knew I wanted and needed him for the job. Within a few days he was at my house to start the job. Not only was Gary's work professional and efficient but Gary dealt with each and every unexpected problem head on and absolutely took no short cuts. His discovered some things that unbeknownst to me was considered unsafe and fixed it all for me. Thank you so much Gary for taking care of me!! So if anyone out there is looking for a HVAC company that is honest and professional with better than reasonable prices- well GAS is it!!!!

After a difficult time finding a company to replace my water heater, my neighbour recommended G.A.S. They quickly gave me a reasonable quote for a new water heater and the cost to install it. Scheduling the work was a breeze and they were able to quickly book the work while accommodating my schedule. The installation was efficient and completely professional.

Without hesitation I would recommend G.A.S. They will do the work properly without any of the nonsense so common with other contractors.

We (and a number of our neighbours) have been using Gary's services for several years (he fixed our ailing gas fireplace last year) and he has always been extremely responsive, very professional and also caring. Now "caring" is not something one usually lists in a description of an HVAC specialist, but it really describes Gary. So when we woke up yesterday morning to no heat in the house, one call to Gary and he was here in a few hours. As I knew he would be. Because this is what we have come to know about Gary -- he would never leave one of his clients in the cold.
