Had them clean an area rug a few years ago. The rug is worth maybe $500. To their credit, they did a good job, but the price was really, really high. Way higher than I was quoted. Whatever. It was clean and I was happy with the outcome. One off, right?
No. Four years later they are still calling me for followup business. My place is hardwood, guys. I have that one small area rug and at this point I'd just pay for a new one to replace it over having it cleaned.
I get it, you're going to call your customers for followup business, but the last time I spoke to your service rep they were outright rude. They asked why I wasn't interested to which I kindly stated I didn't need the service and if they could take me off the calling list. Without so much as a confirmation I was hung up on.
Awful customer interaction. If you won't confirm my removal next time I hear from you I'll just chalk it up to harassment and proceed via appropriate channels.
