I am a superintendent for a large general contractor in the city. I looked at the invoice they charged my 90 year old grandpa for what originally was supposed to be a simple hot water tank replacement. I was absolutely shocked at how much they charged him. I did my own conservative estimate based on industry rates and prices and even with a 20% markup assumed, they still charged him double what it should have cost. The hot water tank job turned into an all day adventure at finding extra things that could be re-done and charged extra money for. This is really bad business and I strongly don't recommended this company to anyone.

would never call these people again. He was only interested in selling me service, price over the top, when I called them no mention was made of service dispatch fee, he did not have to come back, so why was I charged this fee?. would not even drill a hole in base cabinet for dishwasher used the excuse his drill bit was not very sharp, when my cabinet installer offered his, he just blew him off. I feel I was really soaked, no pun intended. Do not use this company.

Fast response to original call. Good, courtesy service. Reasonable price. Ideas for preventative maintenance. Fixed a few other small problems while here. Replaced defective toilet. All good. Would call back again and recommend to others.

My water tank broke down this morning, and I called Kody from ARO Plumbing to assist. He was very polite, and professional.He explained to me all the issues that came up with the repair, and what additional repairs must be done. His explanation was very clear, and made me understand the need to do them.He also showed me other repair needs around the house, all this while being very courteous and polite. I think Kody is an asset to the company, and thank you very much!

Cleaned bathroom & kitchen drains, but using lazy flush technique from above. Other plumbers say you don't clean drains from above. Charged $195 for each drain, took a few minutes each. Also broke first one, THEN THE SECOND, basin strainer in the kitchen double sink. Offered to replace with strainers that he had on the truck. We are not happy with those strainers. He was obviously getting rid of poor strainers at exhorbitant prices. Don't bother with these sharp operators.

ARO plumbing works under the NEED-A-PLUMBER banner. We recieved a verbal quote for $5000, job ended up being over $8000. There is a serious issue with the install and ARO returned to "fix" the problem(3-4 hours late), and made it worse. The second service call the guy didn't even show up(waiting another 4 hours), it's now day four that the company is aware of the issue and now we are now just hoping someone will spare some time and come by for the 20 minute fix so we can have drinkable water again. I guess there's just no money in warranty work. I've called on multiple occassions to speak with a manager, but the receptionist doesn't even know when or if he's in the office, and he does not return phone calls.

Had a leaky pipe downstairs. They came and were very quick and efficient. New what to do and supplied me with effective alternatives. Would nor hesitate to use or recommend the company in the future.

kody, our service technician explained everything to be done and what it costs for everything. he's quick, clear, tidy, accommodating and very knowledgeable in his job. will use the company again especially like kody.

I felt that the technician (Devin) was very knowledgeable and helpful when explaining what had to be done and why. I was a little shocked at the price since the receptionist I originally spoke with indicated that the cost started at $750.00 for a water heater. Devin was very polite and I thought that he did a very good job installing my water heater and pressure regulator. The job was great but the cost was expensive.

The tech that came over was quick, very knowledgeable, clean & tidy. Informed us of prices and options before doing work, would recommend this company, and use this company again
