G&G Magic Touch Services

I am very happy with the work done by G&G. They did a beautiful job and go above and beyond to make sure that everything is perfect. I am making a list of other jobs I need done and am sure I'll be sleeping better knowing my house is in their care. They are so pleasant (even my cats love them) and immediately inspired my trust.

Gilles and Gail are very experienced contractors whose input is invaluable. They are both knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and honest and such lovely people. We highly recommend them to anyone who wants a job done right.

Gilles and Gail came to install a couple of faucets at our home. This was after contacting 7 other handy men/ plumbers who did not even bother to return my messages.
Gilles and Gail arrived when they said they would, they treated our home with respect and were very friendly and informative.
The kitchen faucet I bought was defective, so I had to go to exchange it. G&G waited until I returned with the new faucet - but to our surprise, that one was also defective. Instead of calling it a day, G&G stayed with us ( they even came with us to pick up another replacement faucet) and finally got the new faucet installed.
In spite of the problems with the first two faucets, we were very impressed with G&Gs determination (and their patience) to stay with us until the job was done.
I think G&G are a real find - and we will not hesitate to hire them again, or recommend them to any of our friends.

G&G installed a new kitchen faucet on very short notice (in the evening to accommodate my schedule). I am happy with all aspects of the work performed and the helpful tips offered. I look forward having G&G back again to help me with a few home projects.

I had accumulated a number of small electrical jobs and had trouble finding an electrician who was willing to fix them. G&G didn't mind doing the small jobs, which proved a bit more complicated than they initially prepared. They just took it step by step, got the necessary parts, and persevered until the job was done. They are very personable, and they inspire confidence and trust. Now I'm asking them to look after some larger jobs that I've been putting off!

We had Gilles and Gail come to our house the first time to fix our furnace as a recommendation from my father. We had already spoken other electricians and they had quoted us a ridiculous price just to come see what was wrong, without being able to guarantee that they could fix it. Gilles and Gail came looked at the problem and Gilles was able to fix it instantly and did not even charge us half of what we were expecting to pay. After that we have had Gilles and Gail come to our home and perform so many other projects. They are very nice and trust worthy people and they really take the time to do a job right. In addition, they are so clean while working, make an effort to not mess up the rest of the house, or leave their tools all over the house and they clean up properly the area/room they were working on once they complete the project. I highly recommend using G&G Magic Touch Services, if you want a job done right the first time, trustworthy honest people working in your home or office and not overpay for the work being done.

It's very difficult to find a good, honest & reliable contractor and I've had some very bad experiences. I struck gold when Gail & Gilles were referred to me (by a marble & tile company). They go above and beyond what I would expect. As Gilles does the work, Gail cleans up afterwards so everything is spotless when they leave. Gilles is extremely knowledgeable about how to do things properly, points out mistakes other contractors have made and fixes them. One of them would have resulted in a very serious accident one day -- the stairs from my porch to the lower level back yard (10' off the ground) were only held in place by a few nails -- no brace -- it was only a matter of time until they rusted through and snapped when someone stood on the top step. The laminate and granite he laid is absolutely perfect. He also finished installing French Doors that another contractor started but I fired him for showing up drunk one day. I think I had about a dozen items on my "To Do" list and he finished each one of them, including painting my daughter's room (again, a perfect job). G & G have just started a larger renovation job for me, a rental condo I own, and I know the work will be done to perfection. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending them to anyone.

We originally called Gail and Gilles to discuss various small projects we needed done around our house. We discussed finishing a room in the basement in future, and more immediate smaller projects. The first project was to do some minor repairs in the basement and to install a light fixture in the basement and a few more throughout the house. The day before our appointment we had had some flooding in the basement. We called someone to come snake the drain and they arrived while Gail and Gilles (G & G) were there. Mr. Rooter (see our review for them) determined that we were going to have to have parts of the basement dug up. Gilles suggested that G&G stop doing anything further in the basement until that was sorted since there was no point in us wasting money. We agreed. They moved upstairs to install 3 other ceiling lights, 2 of which were antique chandeliers. There was a piece missing from one of them and G&G went out to pick that up for us. They came back and installed all 3 lights. This wasn't easy since the previous owner had left unused wires and things in the ceiling. They fixed things though and Gilles even made sure that any smudges and fingerprints on the chrome light were removed before. The lights look beautiful and we are very happy with their work. They will be coming back soon to finish a minor job in the kitchen. We will then be calling them back to see about helping us with the basement which now needs renovation due to the drain problem we had. We are not very handy people so we were looking for someone with knowledge and expertise who could come and do the fixes, but also to advise us as to the best and most cost effective way to go about it. We are so happy that we found G & G. They are very professional, neat, and pleasant to work with. Of course we will be calling them again.

Gilles installed my leaking Kitchen sink faucet in very short notice.
He did an excellent job.Gilles and Gail are very reliable and Honest.In the past they have done My hardwood flooring.They did an excellent job.
