Sos Appliance Repair

Horrible service, I told them exactly what the problem was with my appliance was on the phone when booking the appointment. A tech came to the house for 10 minutes and had no idea what he was doing, I had to instruct him on what was going on. He guaranteed he could fix it no problem and charged me 90 something dollars then left. Didn't hear from him again. A week later the office calls to tell me they can't fix it, good luck. Asked to speak to a manager they said sure one will call you back, then they again disappeared and stopped answering their phone and no response for 3 days now. Look them up online and you will find all bad reviews and false claims of customer service.

SOS appliance repair came out to my house to fix my LG washer. They said they would have to order the part from Sears, and would call to let me know the price and when they could fix it. After I called 3 times looking for info, none of the people I talked to could tell me what was going on (Adrian, Mino, and a lady). I just wanted to know if they could fix it or not, but they didnt even have the courtesy of responding. It is FEb 3, 2016 and they still havent called back. Original service call was Jan 19, 2016. I would NOT recommend this company. I paid the service charge for nothing.

Just had an excellent experience with Ceasar who came to fix my GE fridge. He replaced the relay, was very professional and was in and out in under an hour.
I am appreciative for this great service, especially around the holidays.

Dec 1 I called to have my fridge repaired. The repairman came out & said the compressor motor fan needed replacing. He returned the next day & now I needed a new relay. The fridge was then freezing all the vegetables. Called them again. They replaced the thermostat. Fridge was then thawing everything. Called them again & I needed a new timer. They replaced it. Today Dec.19. fridge is still not working. I called the office to speak to the manager again after phoning yesterday. They would contact the manager & have them return my call. I then contacted the BBB & out of the blue the repairman phones me to come look at the fridge. Now the compressor is not working & I should get a new fridge! He did refund me $350 for the relay. I'll see if it gets to my account. Needless to say I am not at all happy with this company & will NEVER call them again!

We called SOS to service our Dacor wall oven which they assured us they could service. The service technician was at our house for over 30 minutes and spent most of his time on the phone not talking about our situation. It was obvious he had no idea what was wrong with the oven but he decided it was most likely the control board (note on invoice says figure out beside main control board) he was to order the part and get back to us. He never got back to us and after following up with him a few times we demanded our money back from the service call as it was obvious he was not going to do anything. We then called the head office in Calgary after not hearing back from him yet again and were advised that our request for a refund had been denied and the part was not available none of which was ever communicated to us. We finally called another company who came in and diagnosed and fixed the problem. I would not recommend SOS appliance to any friends or family and am in fact considering a complaint to the better business bureau.

Service tech shows up and explains the issue to my wife and quotes 300 hundred dollars for repair. My wife paid half. The parts in question are one spring , a new closing clip ( which could be taken out 30 seconds) plus 2 side strings attached to the door. Parts in total 30 dollars. Quoted from Kitchen Aid itself. I have to say I'm a electrician I can't charge these rates. The low rating is very accurate. They will clearly take advantage of their clients. I will pass this information on to everyone I know and through work channels.

They came they quoted $450 for a part plus another almost $400 to install it. i researched the part online and by phone and found it at a store for $48.99. When I informed them of this (and other sites that had that part listed for less than $50) they refused to reduce the price of the part they quoted. Finally after one week from the original service call they refunded the almost $500 deposit i made but not the service charge fee ($90!!!+) you'd think after being found out as untruthful they would be a bit more apologetic but nope. Managing technician seems shifty... refused to speak to me or call me directly. I feel sorry for the reception staff there who all do seem quite nice.

Very disappointed in this company and will not use them again. They came to fix my oven, ordered a part that was supposedly on back order and I had to wait 6 months for them to come install it. I kept calling and they never called back. Finally they came to install the part and it still did not work. I gave up and call someone else who fixed the problem on their first visit for a fraction of the price. That person told me that they did not install any new part from what he could see and that there is no part that is worth as much as I paid.
They took a deposit for the part and then they were hoping I would give up calling them so they could cash in but never do any work. If that happens to you can call Mastercard to contest the charge and they should be able to do so if it is in the last 4 months.

I LOVED THE SERVICE ! THEY ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTION VERY FRIENDLY . AND IT WAS FIXED IN SECONDS . I GIVE THIS COMPANY 10 STARS FOR EXCELLENT SERVICES I MUST SAY !!!

We contacted SOS Appliance to have a service man come to make general repairs around our hospital. They were very polite and quick to assist on the phone. The Service Technician came out the following day, and was quick, competent, polite and a hard worker. We would definitely recommend their service, and we would use them again.
