We love our new Napoleon Gas Fireplace, especially with the cool spring weather we have been having. Robin, Conner and Dan were very professional and their customer service exceptional -even helping me out when I had a mishap with the tiles.

Our family room is where we hang out all the time and now it is more cozy/welcoming with the new fireplace.

We have just had our fireplace insert installed. Having done online, in-store and telephone research, we contacted Robin via e-mail one week ago today. Received a reply within a matter of hours and set up an appointment for a quote on Tuesday. As luck would have it, he was available to install today. They arrived on time, worked steadily and cleanly. They were knowledgeable and pleasant. Robin took the time to answer questions to explain how it would work. Had the good fortune of reaching out to Robin Hetherington at Fireplace West in Ottawa, to install a Napoleon Gas Fireplace complete with stone surround. We had an old brick wood burning fireplace in our living room, and Robin did a great job installing a gas insert fireplace (Valour G3). They even installed it right before Christmas. We found them to be very attentive to cosmetic details. The tiling job around our fireplace looks nice and clean. They cleaned up very well, and the unit is running smoothly. Robin and his crew were extremely pleasant to deal with, competitively priced, and we will be recommending them to our friends.

We decided to paint our 1970 fireplace and since it came out well, we wanted a propane insert to complete it. We called Robin since he had installed our daughter's and he agreed to visit within a few days. He completed the job very professionally and always reassured me that I would love it. We couldn't be happier and there were no surprises, I would definitely recommend him.

Robin helped pick the perfect fireplace for our basement, and the service was above and beyond, they were quick to get in and install the fireplace, it looked great installed, They even cleaned the other fireplace in our house while they were here. I wouldn't go anywhere else for another fireplace.

Robin & his team have transformed our basement TV room into a warm and inviting space to hang out. Robin came in and provided a quote to build in a gas fireplace in our basement finished space. The design was simple, clean and well executed. In just 3 days we went from a cool basement space to a wonderfully warm and appealing room we use regularly. The team was clean ,courteous and in and out quickly. The fireplace is the focal point of the room and everyone comments how beautiful it looks and the fact "it looks like it has always been there". We had been looking at gas fireplaces on and off for a number of months and had narrowed down the brand to the Valor, but we were still struggling on what to do with the existing 50 year old mantle & hearth.

Robin came in and reviewed what we wanted and he was able to provide us with a number of options that would suit our home. After spending a week or two bouncing idea's back and forth we settled on a design that worked. He managed to get the work done the following week, just in time for Christmas and we have been enjoying it every night since then.

I just had a Regency gas fireplace installed by Fireplace West in my first home. Robin came out for an on-site evaluation and ended up also helping me out with an issue with my furnace.
