Jon is there when you need him in a pinch! That says a lot. He is honest and will find the most cost efficient way every single time. He had my furnaces serviced within hours of our conditional sale.

The owner himself answered the phone when I called, the first indication of the excellent service I would experience working with John and his team. Reliable Home Environment responded quickly when my home was without a functioning furnace in November, assembling a team to do the job the next day. Installation of my new Lennox furnace was professional and efficient from start to finish, including thoroughly cleaning up afterward and then parging the exhaust pipe exit through the house exterior. I just got a reduced price from the same service guy after I made a complaint, it means they do care their customers and they do listen to the customers.

In general, their service is good, hope they can keep up the good work.

Five years ago I was given John's name from a friend of mine as our furnace had been red tagged and needed replacement (thank goodness it was June).
Living out in the boonies and in an older home, we still heat with oil. While not the most popular option out there, John didn't hesitate from quoting the job and coming out with his crew for the installation. He even came out the next day to trouble shoot a problem we were having...which took a while to rectify.
With the recent changes in the laws regarding heating your home with oil, we were informed that our tank would need to be replaced this coming June. John was the first person I called for assistance (today as a matter of fact) and we already have a plan in place. #mypersonoftheday
Whether it be a question, quote, or physically helping out his employees on a job, he has gone above and beyond for us. He is friendly, down-to-earth and responsible. His crew was polite, clean and efficient.

Seriously folks, heating and cooling needs are expensive (duh). Having a trustworthy contractor in this domain is very important and they are that in spades.
You will not regret calling them.

After my furnace was red tagged I lined up a series of companies to come give a quote. Of all the companies Reliable was the only one to spend time to look at the area, take pictures and measure. Greg was also the only fellow who came who actually went outside to look at the location of the air conditioner. All the other ones just opened the door and stuck their head out. My options and costs were explained thoroughly to me and all questioned were answered. I booked an appointment for installation that night. The technicians who came explained everything they were going to do. They were efficient and did a beautiful job. The area was spotless after they left. Without hesitation I would recommend Reliable to do any work you may need in a heart beat. Thank you team at Reliable. Two thumbs up!!!!

In August/September 2015 we had a new Lennox AC, furnace and John Wood hot water tank installed. We were very happy with the whole process from Greg (salesman) meeting us, to determine what products would best suit our size of house and budget, to the team that completed the installation. The high efficiency furnace and hot water tank venting installations were particularly tricky as we live in a town house and venting out the back or front of the house would not have been our best options. John, the owner, came twice - once to determine the best solution for venting (out the chimney) and the second time to oversee the installation. This process involved the installers having to come an extra day for which there were no additional costs. All the paperwork for rebates was handled by Reliable and we received our refund within a month. I would highly recommend Reliable for any heating and cooling projects. The installers did a great job. They were professional, prompt, and tidy. John was excellent to deal with and truly cared that we were happy with our products and installation.

We returned from vacation two days before NYE, to find out furnace had died. We looked around the Internet and called reliable, they offered heaters at the time we called and had a technician out the next day. When were given a full breakdown of what's required, we then asked for a quote on a new furnace, we agreed and had a team onsite within 3 days. The team was very professional, taking time to explain everything and the work was extremely neat and tidy, even with follow up calls to ensure we were satisfied. We were so happy that we had Greg back to quote and then install a new Aircon in the summer. Very pleased with both appliances.

I received 4 heaters to warm up the house while I wait for my new furnace to arrive after the long weekend as my 23 year old Lennox furnace finally broke down. Thank you Reliable (John) for being so thoughtful.

I had a new Lennox furnace, A/C and thermostat installed.

My particular concern was that the air conditioner was being installed in a different location than the one being removed. Greg took the time to properly scope out how that would affect the install and gave me the confidence that it would be done right with minimal disturbance to the finished basement.

The one-day installation by Jordan, Nick and Taylor was smooth. In fact, to be honest…they made it look easy.

Another point that bears mentioning is that the install looks great. Everything is lined up nice and straight and neat. I know, it's just HVAC equipment but…

From my perspective, I would definitely recommend this company. You will get exactly what we all want…an accurate, hassle-free installation.
