Difficult communication with sales rep, confusion around install date, had to chase them for $200 credit owed. However, Gemma at head office cleaned up the mess super quick once I reached out. Price of the AC install was ultra competitive and a free Google Nest Thermostat was icing on the cake.

We did not get what we were promised. It took them tow days to install. The installer asked us to contact the sales agent but he keeps saying he is busy. The AC is not working. Was told someone will come but no one showed up. Sad. Very sad. I totally regret this move. Don’t believe what they say.

I contacted them though nest website as they were supposed to be “experts” because we installed a thermostat Nest E and it wasn’t recognizing the humidifier. I specifically told them when booking the appointment what model of nest and what was the issue. When the technician arrived we explained again, after wasting out timing without being able to figure out what was wrong, he called nest to find out that the thermostat E is not compatible with humidifiers. So basically he didn’t do anything the guy who book the appointment couldn’t have told me if they knew the product they say the are “experts” about. He never gave me an invoice or anything, he left slamming the door when we are the ones who should have been mad as they wasted our time. Now, 5 months later I received a letter from them asking me to pay 100$ For what????? For nothing? For leaving it the way it was?

Service Techs never shows up or they are 5 hours late. I had to take 5 days unpaid from work as their time frame windows are unrealistic. All they will do is credit you a month or sometimes not even a credit and just an apology for not showing up.
Not reliable as stated in their commercials.
The sales person For the area is very pressuring and only answers emails or calls when it benefits him.
STAY AWAY!!! We were promised furnace filters and a free year of service. We fought for 6 months to finally get that credited to us. Don’t give up!

If I could give zero stars I would. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Salesman is constantly late and when he is there he doesn't listen to customer needs. Install team will give you a quick install but will sacrifice quality and aesthetics to do so. Furnace won't be properly tested, things will leak and you'll have to have them back to rectify their mistakes - for this you'll have to constantly chase them! Don't be fooled by their professional website - they're a bunch of amateurs!

A few years ago, we had a new tankless hot water system installed to replace our old hot water tank, and everything was done very professionally. We just recently replaced our furnace and air conditioner with new ones, again with Reliance, and we're extremely pleased with the installation and service. We've been very happy with our decision to work with Reliance.

The technician who came was friendly/ knowledgeable and explained what he was doing every step. He maintained social distancing (Covid-19 precautions). Explained the monthly furnace maintenance plan to me as well + how to become a member with Reliance. Very happy customer-good value as well. Thanks!! Linda

Our AC unit quit last week and we called Reliance. The technician came out the next day and said it was the compressor and because the AC unit was older it couldn't be fixed. He said around $4,000 to get a new one from Reliance. Their salesman came out later and confirmed a bad compressor and $4k for a new one. Didn't feel I was getting the whole story. Called Fagnans, they came out the next day. Within 30 seconds of looking at our AC unit he said it had a blown capacitor, about $175 to fix and he had one in his truck. Well it worked, AC unit is running great. He said and AC technician with basic training could tell it was a bad capacitor. Umm....

Attempting to purchase from reliance has been a complete waste of my time. They wasted my weekend waiting around for several missed appointments. When they finally arrived it was petty excuses and empty promises that were not kept.
It is inexcusable to have salespeople can't make appointments or follow up on with someone who wants to purchase.

Great service last year however, lousy consultation appointments for a new furnace. They unable to keep or make appointments. So cancelled all together for a new furnace. Good thing there are others available that do want potential customers
