M&R Roofing

M & R roofing came the week they said they would, and worked nonstop for the entire time of the job. They cleaned up after themselves in a highly professional way, and were polite and considerate at all times. The roof looks excellent.

The team at M&R Roofing is supremely professional: from prompt response, detailed estimates that include photos and arrows highlighting the work area and a very polite and considerate crew that leave no trace when the work's complete. The quotes are fairly priced too. I highly recommend them.

M & R Roofing is the most professional roofing company that I have every dealt with. I have had issues with other roofing companies in the past (5 others) and M&R is the only one that I would recommend.

During the winter in 2014, we had water coming into our mufti-residential building on the top floor. I was frustrated because we had our roof replaced 2 years ago by another company and it was already leaking. Since I've seen M&R trucks in the Cabbagetown neighborhood before, I decided to give them a call on a Sunday afternoon. Marciej took my call and was very professional. He was able to come to the property in a timely manner and was quick to provide a quote, references and photos of the problem areas.

The work could not be done right away due to the extreme winter weather, but as soon it was possible his crew was able to fix our roof. They even took photos and showed them to me afterwards. They also put sheet metal around some holes I had in the corners of the dormers. Their work is very neat, and the workers were courteous and respectful.

I would definitely use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Our roof is 6 years old and started leaking after a rain storm this week. Water was pouring through the pot lights of our 6 year old house. I called M&R on a recommendation from a friend and they came out the same day. Turns out we have the cheapest roof tiles on our roof money can buy - another new build done on the cheap. A large corner of the large tile on the flat part of our roof had blown off in the wind earlier this week and the bare plywood beneath was totally exposed to the elements. The flat roof tile had not been attached or finished off properly. They also noticed two vents on our roof had not been properly finished around. Two were completed properly and two were not. They said they would fix this problem too. They sent a team to do all the work less than 24 hours later and, more importantly, before it rained again which saved us from having to do drywall and electrical repair and painting. They were prompt, knowledgeable, courteous, reasonably priced (came in on quote) and a pleasure to deal with. When our cheap roof tiles all need to be replaced in a few years we will definitely be calling them to do a proper job replacing them and providing us with shingles that I am confident will have a much longer life. Pride in workmanship seems to be rare these days and this company is a rare find that does excellent work that you can count on. I strongly recommend them.

I would like to recommend the services of M&R Roofing. From beginning to end everyone was courteous, efficient and friendly. During one of the worst winters I can remember, the work was completed in a timely manner and we are pleased with the standard of work. We love our new roof top deck and can't wait for summer to use it!!

Strong wind destroyed a length of front fascia on our downtown rowhouse. A different company quoted $1200 to replace all of the fascia; M&R was able to replace just the visible part like I wanted for a fraction of the cost. The job was small so I had to wait a few weeks, but it was worth it. Their work looks great and they guys are a pleasure to deal with. Would use again.

Marcin and Maciej did a great job on replacing our flat roof and skylight. We had a leak after the ice storm and Maciej was able to come in the day I called to provide me with a very detailed estimate. The crew braved the cold weather and got everything installed in just 2 days. They were also very nice and polite. We would highly recommend them and plan on using them again in the future when it comes time to replace our pitched roof.

Mazvydas and his team arrived on time wearing their uniforms and safety gear. Although Maciej was here on a dry, sunny, summer day, he recognized that there had been an overflow in the eavestrough and a need for brackets. He noticed the drip edge was not nailed in and took part of it out to show me. I was surprised that it was still there. I appreciated his knowledge, care and time he took in showing me the details of M&R's quality work.
