Gas Fix

I would not only recommend Gasfix Repair without any hesitation, but with kudos to them. Make a very long story short after about 4 hours getting nowhere; I had been phoning trying to get some information regarding installation for a gas line. You would think Enbridge would have been the primary source of help. Forget about it, other than paying your bills. So when I was just about to give up, making my last call (it was actually after 5pm) the owner Scott picked up the phone. Within 15 minutes he knew exactly what I wanted and told me the price and never tried to pressure me into anything more than what I asked for. He provided what is nowadays only hoped for - quality, service, making suggestions, answering questions, ensuring that I get what "I" wanted! He gave a price (loved the quote at the first sound), a time, and honoured it fully. Wait it gets better. The servicemen show up on-time and get right at it. Asked where I wanted the outlets, can I cut here, is this okay, made great suggestions, first class. Then without ever even mentioning it, they took the newly delivered gas stove out of the box , took off all the packaging, hooked it up, tested it, and showed me how to use it safely. The actual job ended at a higher amount by over $100 of estimated. Gasfix Repair ate the difference, without so much as a blink. Ok if I go on anymore I will sound like a "plant" or a "stooge". I'm done.

I refused to use the same company for repairs after they gave me an infraction tag first and then only stated they have the parts available to fix it. I phoned Gas Fix and Dwayne came out the same day to fix all problems and my old fireplace is up and running and it was done within my budget ,according to all safety specifications. I will not hesitate to recommend them. They are professional from the word go, punctual, up front about cost and will definitely be the go to company for any gas related problems, be it fireplace or pool heater.

Dwayne arrived on time, and completed service on my 26 year-old Selkirk fireplace. I hadn't had service on it before. Have always liked the flame effect on this fireplace and was wondering if it was time to replace it due to age. Dwayne cleaned it, added 'embers' and changed the wall switch which needed replacing to keep the fireplace safe. Hopefully, good to go for many more years. It is worth repairing a well-built, old, reliable gas fireplace..

Had a problem fireplace. Service was efficient, serviceman was knowledgable, price seemed reasonable. The work was clean and quick and I felt very confident that my problem had been addressed.

Dwayne was on-time, curteous and friendly. He worked efficiently, diagnosed the problem and had the part on his truck. We are happy with the service, but wish the cost had been a bit less.

I have dealt with GasFix on two previous occasions over the last few years - both times to service and clean the two gas fireplaces which came with my house. I was always very impressed with the promptness with which Scott responded to both email requests and phone messages, and with the punctuality, professionalism and friendliness of the technicians. This time, when I called because one of the fireplaces would not work, was no exception. Dwayne was very thorough, taking time to explain to me exactly what the problem was, and what he was doing to fix it. He was patient and very friendly in answering all my questions. I will have no hesitation in calling GasFix next time my fireplaces are due for service, and if at any time I decided to replace one or other of the existing units, I would go straight to Scott. Fireplace was to be working as part of purchase agreement, was not.
4 of us tried to start it - no go. Called Gas Fix, found problem and did an excellent job of explaining what was done, and how to maintain in the future.

Gas Fix repaired my older gas fireplace which had a mercury flame switch that nobody else wanted to repair, just replace. This saved me replacing the whole unit. Scott was very professional and performed his work with great care. Quality work and fair pricing.
