LG Refrigerator

I bought a fridge from brick 2 years ago as well as the 900,00$ 5-year guarantee and my fridge suddenly broke down ONE MONTH AGO and I've called many times since then but they still haven't fixed it!! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEIR GARBAGE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TRASH-WORTHY PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!

living room furiture

we bought a leather couch and love seat from the brick in abbotsford , it is all power, we bought the extended 5 year warranty as well with in a year the love seat cushions started to shift and then seperated looks like hell, i called the warranty dept at the brick they returned my call 2 months later sent a guy out to look said they could order the pieces , we waited 4 months nothing happened , called again they said we are not fixing it we will give you a $200 credit of course i said bull you will have to do better than that, they finally gave us a $300 credit thats it , in store only, so i go down to order a chair off there web site , the salesmen says i have to pick it up i said delivery because thats what i paid for last time not my fault the loveseat is crap.he then tells me the delivery will be$ 200 i said i dont think so . he calls the manager over he said delivery will be $50 i said not a chance you sold me crappy furniture you owe me delivery, needless to say i got free delivery and the salesmen and the manager look about ready to cry , the store had other customers so they did not want to chance on me clearing the store. the brick funiture is crap lesson here is if you pay for extra warranty then you should get it fixed no matter what the brick does not honor there own policy, i will never shop there again

bedroom furniture

Everything's great until delivery. A computer calls & tells you how it is- all your responsibilities and which 1/2 day to take off work. They showed up late.
Delivered one of the boxes crushed -part damaged inside. Said they would order another.
Computer called a couple weeks later. Another 1/2 day off work. Try to reschedule on the phone- nothing but attitude.
Asked why they shipped the box anyways if it was damaged on the outside. "But SIR! That's our policy!
Finally get delivery- they weren't going to assemble it as promised. Reminded them of that obligation. They left the door open 3x despite being politely asked to shut it, left their boots on (it was raining out), scraped the brand new bed frame, left all kids of garbage behind, and stained my brand new bedspread! Won't come clean.
Called manager - said he would call me back - still waiting...
Wish I had never bought there. Save yourself some grief.

Television

I bought a LG tv at the brick in June of 2015 and it died in July 2015. Instead of helping me get the tv death with they gave me the 800 number to LG. Next I went to cancel my extended warranty only to have Tony the manager never call me back after leaving this information with the brick. I shall NEVER deal with any brick store again!!! I even just throw out their flyers.

Help the customer by dealing with the company's they carry products for and repay extended warranty when they you with never use it because you won't have that product

bedroom set & dining table delivery

- Ordered table and bedroom set from the Brick
-Paid for warranty and down deposit for both
- received table shortly after purchase 2 chairs were scratched and wobbly.
-called several times to the warranty department- first time the woman on the phone said she would give us 50 dollar credit . then 100 dollar credit and THEN finally said she would replace the chairs for free.
- Wasn't contacted for several days about the pickup/delivery for the chairs (booked off time so I could be home when they dropped them off)
- They didn't show up - when I phoned them to inquire they told me the delivery date was moved and that it would be another few days until I could get the chairs.
- chairs showed up and that mess was over.

BUT THEN...

- the bedroom set was supposed to come in today (07-08-2015)
-no confirmation call yesterday or today so we called and they said the furniture would not come in until the 18th....

THIS IS RIDICULOUS.

I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THE BRICK AGAIN.

tl;dr : The brick is unprofessional, wait time is too long, service is shotty and overpriced furniture is handled terribly. Never again.

Rug

So I went to buy a rug and I expected that I would spend maximum 30 minutes doing so but ended up with 4 hours. What happened is that I saw a rug that I liked for $199 .. I asked to get it and once he scanned the item, he told me that the system price is $220 and he should change that in the system so I waited about 10 minutes until he got the change done and sold it to us for $199 .. On our way out we saw the exact same rug but for $169 .. We asked for that and he said probably its an older model so we asked for a replacement and he said okay .. It took us about an hour and 30 minutes waiting for them to issue the replacement and do the refund because they were busy and what is worst that they told us that they don't have it in store and we should pick it up from the warehouse 20 minutes away from the store ,, We went to the warehouse at about 5 pm .. The delivery person said that we didn't pay it and he don't have the rug ready. We showed him the receipt then he went to bring the rug. 30 minutes later he showed up with a totally different rug than the one we ordered .. We told him that is not it so we ended up entering the warehouse to show him which rug did we buy from the store looking at the images in the store website .. and it turned out that they stopped selling that rug 3 months ago .. we called them at site to tell them about it and I swear that phone call lasted more than 30 minutes of us getting transferred to different people and in each time we had to tell them our phone number and our story and what is happening from the beginning like we repeated this story multiple times and in each time they put us on hold and transfer us to someone else like they didn't know how to deal with it .. at that point we just wanted to be done with it because the warehouse closes at 6 pm and it was 6:30 already so we decided to take the original first rug that they had in the warehouse and pay 55$ more for the price difference. We just took it home because it was tiring and we had no other choice. I called the next day to speak with the manager and she said that the problem was with the tags and she issued us a $25 as a compensation but honestly she didn't seem like she cared and we didn't get a satisfying apology.

Montibello Round Marble Table- Crack in top and underneath

We purchased the Montibello Round Marble Table that was supplied by the Steve Silver Company from The Brick at 3025 Ridgeway Road, Mississauga, ON, L5L 5P8, Canada, (905) 569-0677on March 16, 2014.

Just over a year later, on the morning of March 20, 2015, my wife noticed a crack near the edge of the marble top and under closer inspection, there was also an approximate 1 1/2 foot crack in the wood underneath the table. Both cracks were not there when the table was assembled by me one year ago, and both cracks appear to be getting larger.

We contacted The Brick and they said that there is nothing that they can do about it, and were certainly not amused with that response. A table does not just self-destruct after just one year, especially when it is hardly even used.

We then contacted the Steve Silver Company, and after 6 weeks of numerous e-mails, and numerous phone calls to the Steve Silver Company and again to The Brick, and there was also contact between the Steve Silver Company and The Brick, nothing is going to be done about the cracked marble table by either the Steve Silver Company or The Brick. It appears that neither party is interested in standing behind the products that they sell!

Based on our experience with the Steve Silver Company, you should think twice before you purchase any product marketed by the Steve Silver Company!

We will never buy another Steve Silver Company product, nor will we ever shop at The Brick again, or for that matter, at their parent company, Leon`s!

couch from The Brick

The Brick has the worst customer service ever! I purchased a couch from the Brick's Signature line 1 year ago. As soon as it was delivered, I noticed a defect in the seam of the back of the couch. I called customer service who sent a rep out to look at the defect. The Brick had a repair tech come to fix the seam. Instead of fixing the seam, they bandaged it but it was still very noticeable. My husband and I were very disappointed as the couch cost nearly $3000. I called customer service again, and the rep was incredibly rude, but eventually agreed to take back the couch to repair once again. After 2 weeks of not having a couch, they sent our couch back in the exact same condition. After nearly a year of going back and forth, sending pictures numerous times, the Brick has not done anything further to assist with my damaged couch. The straw that broke the camel's back was my final call to the brick, and their customer service rep telling me that they would not do anything further for me because my one year warranty was over. After shopping with the brick for over 15 years and giving them thousands upon thousands of our hard earned dollars, we will never, I repeat, never shop at the break again. I will share this story with anyone willing to listen, to ensure they do not give them their business.

Bedroom

Disgusting treatment after purchase!!! I bought 6100 worth of furniture and my coffee table was damaged and did not deliver a bedroom piece, but the guy bringing said I still had to sign the invoice , there for they said at the store after I requested my bedroom chest i didn't get , they told me I signed saying I recieved it and nothing they can do. Disgusting !!! I told them the delivery guy said I had to , they didn't care , and as for the damaged table , they offered 125 (store credit) and refused to deliver me a new table after my sales person said anything damaged will be replaced. NEVER AGAIN!!! will I step foot inside a brick store and I truely suggest , whom ever is reading this does the same. WARNING!! After you give this company your money , you are nothing!!! They do not practice customer relations and are not interested in return customers , please do not go to the brick.

Kitchen Appliances & Washer/Dryer

NEVER PURCHASE FROM THE BRICK. I have been dealing with the Brick now for 6 weeks trying to receive my order. It is the worse customer service I have ever had! They all mislead you. Every. Single. Time. Each person you deal with will tell you something different and send you on a goose chase then deny everything they said in the first place! I was promised a $70 credit to my Visa for my trouble so when I called back to give them my credit card info they said they have no record! They would not transfer me to a supervisor, they would do nothing. I promise you, if you ever shop with the Brick you will live to regret it.
